- Operate,
maintain, and test:
- High Voltage
345kV, 13.8kV, and 480v Electrical Distribution Systems including;
Transformers, Switchgear, Breakers, UPS Systems, and support systems.
- 3000 scfm Multi
stage Air Compressors, Air Dryers, and related equipment.
- 80 MBTU Natural
gas heating Boilers and distributions systems.
- Multi-cell
Cooling Tower System and associated components.
- Perform
environmental surveillances to ensure EPA and NRC regulatory compliance.
- Develop procedures
and policies for plant system operations, training, and maintenance.
- Utilize CMMS and
Tagging systems to address material deficiencies and ensure equipment reliability
and timely maintenance actions.

maintain training and qualification standards for 21 operations personnel.
- Develop and conduct
classroom and On-The-Job training for assigned personnel.
- Conduct safety
and health audits to ensure OSHA and site compliance.
- Respond to casualty,
alarm, and abnormal conditions in accordance with plant procedures.
- Supervise
multiple subcommittees to direct corrective actions necessary for
outstanding equipment issues, equipment and material deficiencies, safety
and work environment conditions, employee concerns, and policy and
procedure deficiencies.
- Start, stop, and
manipulate operating parameters for nuclear plant systems including steam
turbines, turbine generators, distilling units, pumps, valves, and air
compressors.
- Maintain,
install/remove, and test High Pressure Air Compressors, Steam Driven Turbines,
pumps, valves, lube oil systems, heat exchangers, distilling units, and
nuclear level components.
- Supervise and
conduct Nuclear Power Plant operations, maintenance, training,
qualifications, testing, evolutions, and drills.
- Coordinate
maintenance with multiple shipyard contractors and ships personnel.
- Respond to casualty,
fire, safety, and hazmat conditions in accordance with plant procedures.
- Supervise a five
member division responsible for the research, receipt, and maintenance of
over 2600 Nuclear Procedures, Technical Documents, and Logs over a 14
month period.
- Track and
coordinate multiple revisions for Naval Nuclear Power training manuals,
logs, operating guidance’s, procedures, and technical documents.
