Integrated new User Interface to wire transfers for wholesale portal users (20 team members with $4M budget).  Installed infrastructure servers and applications to reside within existing legacy applications.  Heavy use of RUP methodology and compliance with Project Management Office guidelines.  Responsible for product deployment readiness and QA testing of a new Payment Manager application in Wholesale division.  Developed the master test plan and coordinated QA testing with six other QA departments, testing both end to end transactions and new feeds and interfaces.  Worked with business analysts to track User Interface (UI) enhancements as testing proceeded.  Managed QA using HP Quality Center.  Led weekly defect meetings and tracked open issues related to testing.  Escalated infrastructure issues to the program manager in order to keep project on schedule.  Worked with QA staff of 26 and infrastructure staff of over 50 covering topics such as LDAP security, F5 setup, and performance testing,  Worked with product managers on completing readiness checklist items. Delivered a new fraud monitoring and message routing system for the Wholesale portal using EMC and Actimize software packages for risk scoring and Tealeaf application for fraud detection. Production domain and backup domains consisted of 30 servers across 3 cities.  Implemented two test environments and two production environments with Java, Oracle 10g, with both database and application mirroring and clustering for performance.  Developed security plans for compliance and audit guidelines.  Adhered to RUP methodology for Infrastructure components, new servers, new Oracle databases, Websphere console access.  Processed hardware and software requests according to Technology standards and guidelines for data center operations.  Developed production readiness checklists and security checklists.  Installed General Nelson alerts and application alerts according to technology infrastructure guidelines.  Set up oncall procedures for system admin and production support.  Completed security forms for data and server access for the team.

Managed 13 business analysts and developers responsible for data conversion for a new membership billing system.  Developers wrote programs to migrate 60 DB2 tables with over 240 million rows of historical data.  Developed work breakdown structures, task lists, issues logs and milestones.

Developed requirements to integrate a financial package from Computer Sciences Corp into the existing billing system for CSAA – northern California.  Functional and non-functional requirements were developed.

Designed new Cashiering system for CSAA by integrating a package from Salepoint into the existing GL, accounting, collections, and membership systems.  Replaced Burroughs system with PC based system.  This system is used in all CSAA offices used by over 150 users.

Functioned as Business Analyst and project manager for a conversion from five in-house financial systems to a single Oracle Financials system with Apple Clients.

·         Improved financial reporting processes which reduced the time for monthly aggregation of world-wide financials from 2 weeks to 4 days.

Developed requirements for billing system for local carriers entering the California market.  Shared project plans, development estimates, and issues logs with Project Management office.    Developed work breakdown structures for three development teams.  Issued project jeopardies when schedule changes exceeded thresholds.  Developed resource plans and interviewed contractor resources.  Delivered monthly financial estimates to the PMO.  Audited requirements documents for completeness.  Reviewed requirement documents and design documents with legal and regulatory departments.

Designed and deployed a new Options Trading platform for the member traders/brokers of the Pacific Stock Exchange on mirrored systems in Los Angeles and San Francisco (POETS).  The new system was paid for by the members (200 members with seats on the Exchange) which spanned 2 years and $6 million for equipment.  New overhead displays, news feeds, GUI applications on the PC and printers were deployed replacing the existing system.  Developed capacity plan and high availability plan for the system.  Subcontracted development of the trading system to FEMCON, inc. in Boston.
