·         Outage Reporting database: led the effort to migrate outage and system health statistics from an adhoc system to a database driven analysis database. Used a combination of a SQL*Server backend, JAVA (JSP/
L) web based interface, and MS Access.

Lead developer and project manager. Accomplishments included:
·         Lead Developer/Architect for Genesis migration project, migrating system collection process from a mainframe environment to a UNIX environment. Took the lead in understanding how the telephony switch data was recorded and how best to create a data model from this. Led the implementation effort to bring this data into a data warehouse.
·         System Architect: served as an internal consultant for AT&T. Would project manage and lead different internal projects as they migrated to a new platform. Would typically establish a data model, then architect an n-tier solution using Java with a web based user interface. Used server side Java technologies such as JSP pages, Java Beans, J2EE to build a next generation system for existing projects. Databases varied with the project, but typically would be Oracle, SQL Server or DB2. Would mentor existing staff on new technologies.
·         Published and presented a research paper on database transaction locking mechanisms, based on research done for Master’s thesis.
·         Joined AT&T’s Foundation Architecture team.  the lead on researching and evaluating the wireless connectivity. Lead the development of the server side application using Linux, XML, and Java/J2EE.
·         Facility Planning project. Led the database modeling effort using Visio and SQL Server. First project to introduce .NET into organization. Used ASP.NET for the development of utilities. Worked with customers to introduce them to the new user interface and the QA effort. AT&T patented project, and my name appears on the patent.
