test procedures for a DCU used on a Sikorsky helicopter. Developed procedures from customer
requirements and ICD. Heavy emphasis on I/O comprised of discrete, analog and
ARINC messaging as well as algorithm verification.

developing software requirements for the hydraulic, nose wheel steering and
landing gear door sub-systems of an Embraer private jet. Designed and wrote
nose wheel steering software for a Gulfstream Jet. Considerable work developing
ARINC messages, CAN messages, POST and CBIT tests for both systems. Used Doors
to develop SRD and track requirements to SIRD. Wrote embedded test software and
test scripts for Embraer hardware assembly testing.

developing test scripts and reports using an in-house scripting language. Application was a set of hydraulic bomb-bay
doors for a Military 747 aircraft. Each door half was processor controlled with
multi-modes of operation. Executed and troubleshot scripts on a Labview based
hardware simulator.

porting embedded APUC application to a PC. Removed hardware layer, modified
middle layer and created UDP/IP sockets
to communicate with a VB hardware/ARINC simulator PC application. Developed and
modified code using Rhapsody with diab environment. Wrote test scripts and instrumented code for
DO-178B Level B testing using VectorCast.

Software engineer on a team responsible for
embedded DO-178B DSP software development for their Rapid Airborne Mine
Clearance System (RAMICS) and Fire Control System (FCS) projects. Wrote the
code to parse and create the messages between the FCS and the Gun System.
Designed and wrote software simulators using Visual Basic and C to enable
testing. The RTOS was VxWorks. Used Tornado 2.2 and Tasking 3.5 compilers to
develop code.
February 2004 to July 2004 – Edwards Air
Force Base, Lancaster Ca.
System software engineer reporting to the
director of engineering on the ABL project. Responsibilities included overview of
the software development and test effort on the projects main elements.
Provided technical support to the main contractors, Lockheeed Martin, Northrup
and Boeing, as needed. Wrote in-house software in C to export telemetry data
from one format to another and assisted in writing Matlab programs for data
analysis support.
July 2003 to January 2004—Rockwell
Collins, Pomona, Ca. (Contractor)
System Engineer on a team responsible for
the hardware/software integration and troubleshooting of a state of the art
airline entertainment system comprised of individual LCD displays and an
internet connection for each seat, video on demand as well as continuous audio
and scheduled video. System included Ethernet, Arcnet, RS-485 and RF buses
communicating between LRU components as well as a simulated Arinc connection
with the airliner. Assisted in the test and troubleshooting each new software
build. Tools included Frequency Analyzer to setup RF levels, simulators and
Doors to track requirements.
October 2000 to May 2003--GM Defense,
Delco Systems, Goleta, Ca. (Contractor)
Designed and developed in C, I/O simulators
to help in the development and test of embedded software in electronics used in
Land Army Vehicle III, TOW Missile System and Laser Sight Weapons System. Developed
CAN and RS485 interfaces. Used VxWorks,
tools included Rational Rose. Used Labview to program IEEE-488 test equipment
in production line hardware test consoles.
May 1999 to September 2000--MiniMed,

Designed production line test equipment to
test circuit boards and assemblies. Designed hold down fixtures with "bed
of nail" technology. Wrote embedded C programs and PC based Labview
software. Used IEEE 488 instrumentation.

an Aircraft Power Controller in a private jet. Used a RTOS and multi-tasking to
