Supported client within Department of the Navy by providing IT services and expertise while working for a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Primary responsibilities included serving as SharePoint site collection administrator for 800-member organization made up of approximately 20 program offices, development and deployment of SharePoint 2010 sites for this organization, and project management of custom web-based software tool.

SharePoint Accomplishments
·         Enabled client’s continued success by developing custom SharePoint sites and features, including tailored lists, libraries, pages, forms, dashboards, and workflows in support of transition to a new corporate intranet based on SharePoint 2010.Consulted with clients at all levels of the organization to identify business needs, create functional design specifications, implement them, test the developed solution, and deploy it.
o   Coordinated efforts across all program offices to develop a common site template to ensure a consistent look and feel across the organization and to provide basic feature set (including out-of-the-box, as well as customized, list and library templates).
o   Worked closely with four unique program offices to develop each a customized site to meet their specific business requirements.
o   Created custom style sheet to enable usage of common design elements across all sites/pages.
o   Created custom master page template for the organization, which included feature to allow users to provide feedback on any page within the organization via InfoPath form. Form contents were dynamically routed to appropriate POC via workflow.
o   Translated business processes that used paper forms requiring various levels of official signature into complete SharePoint solutions using custom InfoPath forms with digital signatures and custom workflows.
o   Developed custom JQuerypage elements used to display information from SharePoint lists via AJAX SOAP query, including modification of an open-source announcements slider to dynamically pull images and text from a SharePoint list.
o   Created documentation for developed solutions targeted at both administrators and end-users.
o   Applied CMMI Level 3 process management to all custom development work to ensure final product was appropriately defined, scoped, developed, tested, and deployed on time and within constraints. Maintained database of best practices to ensure increasing quality of work.
