Description
Converting
legacy systems on AS400 to .NET applications and services,
developing a SOA framework to integrate systems with Wagers office in Boulder,
CO (a newly acquired firm), developing a website called State Contract
Management for managing and archiving contracts with states, data extraction
from bankrupt rebate companies, data automations for various corporate actions,
stock transfers, liquidations, and a security manager application for providing
security to all the developed apps, a front-end for retrieving &
manipulating archived data on AS400, a console for deployment of windows
applications on users PC’s automatically, etc.
Responsibilities:
· Design, development and
testing of the above mentioned applications .NET technologies and AS400 and SQL
Server as the back-end.
· Communicated across
different levels of organization for requirements gathering and analysis, user
acceptance testing, training, documentation.
· Responsible for
developing the SOA framework consisting of data layer, security layer,
business layer in C#.
· Leading a project to research
& extract unclaimed property data from Continental Promotion Group, a
company that went bankrupt in 2009. Generating 4 Million USD in revenue.
· Development of a Billing
and Revenue forecasting system for the custody department of ACS UPCH. Rule
based engine development was the key for this project.
· Responsible for
development and maintenance of a wizard based windows/desktop application for
the automation of writing procedures to process a unclaimed property
transaction. The procedures include various corporate actions, spin-offs, mass
updates, and other complicated tasks. This involved the integration of AS400/RPG
programs with .NET based application.
