Power Generation Projects:
§ Responsible for
the EPC execution of a 75MW concentrated
solar power project in Florida, a hybrid advanced thermal power cycle, and
a 64MW concentrated solar power
project in Nevada using parabolic mirrors.
§
Responsible
for the EPC work of a dual fuel 500 MW gas
turbine combined cycle (GTCC) project
in Denver. Successfully completed a major modification for GT combustion
chambers to burn off-spec natural gas.
§ Responsible for a
coal gasification development
project of 1,500 ton/day feedstock using client’s proprietary catalytic process
to reform pipeline quality methane gas. The project has both U.S. and international sites.
§ Responsible for
the design, funding support, and construction of the 260 MW project using
oxygen-blown entrained-flow Texaco IGCC
technology and hot gas clean-up for Tampa Electric Company, Florida.
§
Responsible
for the development and implementation of various sizes of cogeneration
(combined heat & power) project ranging from 6MW to 200MW, base load and
IPP applications.

Responsible
for the development of a 55MW biomass
project in Maine a 10MW biomass
project in Montreal and the originating of PPA, Fuel Supply Agreement and
environmental permit required by project financing.

Developed
international projects in China: 660MW coal, 50MW Biosolids-to-Energy, various coal plants refinancing, Italy: 560MW
waste gas GTCC, Chile: 300MW coal,
Brazil Furnas: 108MW, Brasil Energia: 62MW, Monterrey Repowering: 83MW,
Colombia: Waste-to-Energy 5MW,

Management Consulting
Projects:

Responsible for the development of power and
infrastructural projects for clients in the U.S., U.K., Italy, China, Thailand,
Chile, Brazil and Vietnam assisting lenders, project sponsors, legal, financial
and insurance advisors throughout project Commercial Operation and beyond. The projects
typically include major infrastructure work such as roads, marine terminal,
utilities and transmission facilities connecting to the electric grid system.

Major participant of collaborative international
project financing consortia for a SE China coal fired project (2x650MW), a
central Thailand coal fired project (2x700MW), a SE Thailand gas turbine combined cycle project
(700MW), and a Chile GE PG9171E gas turbine combined cycle project
(740MW).

Responsible for the due diligence review of a gas turbine combined cycle expansion
project (525MW) in Taranto, Italy. Major challenge was to burn low heating
value off-gas to fuel 3 new gas turbines. A gas treatment system was
retrofitted in the existing site. The project has been successful in commercial
operations.

Provided expert witnessing and litigation support to
client legal counsels in international arbitrations involving energy asset
transactions. The expert witnessing has gained acceptance by the court and the
opposing party.
