·         Worked on project FMLS (Firms Master List Service) for FDA (Federal Food and Drug Administration), which is an improvement, integration and product support project. FMLS provides services to external applications using XML technologies.  My duties included the analysis of the Application Architecture and the original implementations, then designing and implementing a new architecture.  This required creating a facility to communicate between the legacy applications and the J2EE application, designing the J2EE architecture by applying design patterns using UML, and implementing the FMLS using Web Service, RMI, JNI, JNDI, JMS, JSSE, JDBC and C/C++ under Weblogic/ORACLE9i/UNIX. Development environments included Oracle9i, Rational Rose, ERWin, Together, Apache Ant build tools and PVCS/Clear Case.  I also concurrently supported their legacy systems.
·         Worked on the CERES project for The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of NIH, which is also an improvement, integration and support project.
