I managed the retail fixed income technology
development and support. I started in
2006 with a staff of 20+ with 3 project leaders. Through optimization and
efficiencies we reduced that staff to around 15 people. Staff was located in North America, South
America (4) and Asia (6). Job included development
and support for 8 applications delivering entire functionality to fixed income
trading, back-office and sales.
Primary Responsibilities included:

Systems
range from the branch facing applications such as web applications for selling
fixed income products (CitiMarkets, Bonds Direct) to the booking systems, to
the systems that traders use to manage inventory, pricing and risk.

Developed
the new generation FA system “CitiMarkets” that allowed FAs to see the entire
bond market, market depth and execution into those markets. This was one of the first fixed income market
aggregators on the street.

Successfully
implemented off-shore development teams that reduced cost, increased time to
market, but continued to deliver quality products and results.

system’s main users are traders, operations and branch offices. I managed a staff of 15 people.
Primary Responsibilities included:

Designed
and managed the branch, trading systems and back office systems for the retail
fixed income areas. This included web client
facing systems, inventory and execution systems, bond calculator, proposal
systems, REPO systems and others.

As
senior member of team developed and deployed the first web applications for
Morgan Stanley in the late 1990’s called ClientServ.
