Process bi-weekly payroll.  Review 5500 for accuracy prior to filing.  Analyze market data for competitive compensation.  Negotiate contracts and administer retirement, healthcare, property and casualty insurance and workers compensation. Investigate, evaluate and report property and workers compensation claims.  Recommended and implemented self-insurance for medical. Prepare reconcilements for deposit and general ledger accounts associated with payroll and benefits.

Facilitated and processed payroll for 13 affiliate banks approximately 2,300                      employees using ADP Payroll and HRIS software.  Analyzed competitive                          market data to help in determining creative compensation solutions. Educated employees regarding flex benefit options.  Administered flexible                                         benefits enrollment including 401(k).  Working with a team, I learned creative approaches for staffing and placement support.  Policy creation and implementation and benefit administration are also among my strong skills.  I am well educated in all areas of payroll, benefits and employment regulations.
