·
CSS
- Java Persistence API/ Hibernate
- Oracle 11g
- JBoss Developer Studio
Modernizing
the current USSS (United States Secret Service) eLibrary website to conform to
the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) standards using J2EE technologies and
JBoss Seam framework and other related technologies such as Seam, JSF,
RichFaces, and EJB3 to design and develop web applications and use Hibernate
tools to work with Seam and Oracle database. Generating the seam web project using
‘reverse- engineering’ from a database schema and creating required
functionalities using entity beans, session beans, Hibernate, JSF, Seam and/or
RichFaces to deal with back-end and front-end development.
Designed and developed
functionalities to let users to enter data and save to the database; designed and developed
functionalities to let users to search data and display result data at the same
web pages. Continuing to design and develop deliverables for the current task.
2. Social
Security Administration (SSA) Project
·
Java/
J2EE/ JSP/ Servlets
·
L/
CSS/ JavaScript/ jQuery / DisplayTag Library
·
Oracle
10g
·
Web
Services / soapUI
Designed and developed web
applications on both client and server sides in telephone management
information system using J2EE technologies such as JSP, Servlets, JSTL, Java
Beans and JDBC connecting to Oracle database that permits administrators to manage
phone numbers, user and field office information.
Made extensive use of JSTL tags,
Expression Language, DisplayTag Library, and JavaScript functions for
presentation of the data fetched by JavaBeans in JavaServer Pages (JSPs).
Implemented the MVC controller to process and examine HTTP requests, to invoke
JavaBeans, and to handle errors. Coded JavaBeans to manage database access based
on the MVC design pattern. Developed Java code adhered to the secure
programming techniques for SQL injection prevention. Wrote Java code using J2EE
technologies and DisplayTag Library to filter data, and presented filtered data
as HTML tables in either descending or ascending order on web pages. Accessed
and called Oracle stored procedures and functions from Java and got return
data.
3. Nuclear
Regulatory Commission (NRC) Project
- VB/ ASP/ VB.NET/ ASP.NET/
CSS/ JavaScript
- SQL Server 2005
- Web Portal
Maintained the digital data
management system and implemented web based applications using .NET and related
technologies to fulfill requirements from the client. Executed “Change Requests”
and used VB, ASP, VB.NET, ASP.NET and other web technologies to enhance system capabilities.
Developed and added Crystal Reports using
VB.NET and ASP.NET in web applications in Visual Studio 2008. Designed scrollable HTML tables with fixed
headers and used SQL Server back end. Coded table columns to be sorted either
in descending or ascending order. Coded customized error messages to handle
different use cases.
ACADEMIC
PROJECTS EXPERIENCE
- Designed and
implemented a web-based application for an online clothing store using
J2EE technologies such as JSP, Servlets, JavaBeans, and JDBC connecting to
a MySQL DBMS using Tomcat Web Server. Developed secure web pages employing
SSL. Rendered Excel and PDF
documents on web pages.
- Wrote a Message Driven
Bean which would pick up a message from the queue, process the order and
send a response back to the client. Packaged and deployed the Message
Driven Bean into the Glassfish Server.
- Wrote a Stateless Session Bean by converting the e-store business
interface into a stateless session bean. Packaged and deployed the
Stateless Session Bean to the Glassfish Server as a separate jar. Changed
the web application to use this new EJB interface.
- Modified the web based e-store which besides serving consumers,
would serve other businesses for B2B order processing. Allowed business clients
to send an XML order to a queue. A thread in the web application would de-queue,
process and put a response back on to a different temporary queue. The
request and response were formatted using XML.
- Database project:
Retail Online Service System
-
Used
requirement specification technique - Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Use Case
Diagram, data dictionary definition technique and CRUD matrix to depict the
mapping between functional and data requirements.
-
Presented
the conceptual design of the project using ER or EER diagrams. Converted the ER/EER
diagrams into the relational model. Present the logical design of the project
using relational schema.
-
Physical
design: Discussed the need of de-normalization and the security, backup and
recovery procedures. Presented the design of all tables.
-
Application
design: Present the design of software application programs that will use and
process the database. Queries are created in this phase.
