The Modernization Workbench loads source files from legacy systems such

the original source code into modern programming languages
Responsibilities include:
· Migration of the Modernization Workbench to the
.NET infrastructure. This included
moving the source code from C++ and VB6 to C# and VB.NET
· Building the Executive Report and Portability
Assessment plug-in module. This module
provided an
L based executive overview of the source code and the status of
the modernization process.
· Development of the Tagging subsystem. This subsystem allows software developers to
rapidly search for objects in a database.
