Professional Experience

Operations Manager, RMA Group, Afghanistan, 2010-Present
  • Currently manage Construction Division in addition to other duties.
  •  Directly managed programs and US Government contracts in excess of $20 million that include construction, power generation services, heavy equipment sales and service, automotive repair and service, and logistical storage and distribution for Afghan National Police LOGCAP.    
  • Liaison for US Government fuel delivery contracts, supply chain management and providing commodities and material for infrastructure development. 
  • Acting Division Manager for Automotive and Heavy Equipment Divisions as well as directly managing the vehicular LOGCAP operation.  Government and private firm business development.

Program Manager, Fiafi Group, Baghdad, Iraq, 2009-2010
  • Developed and Managed mobilization for an approximately $11.5 million US Government training and vehicle maintenance program for the Iraqi Federal Police. Directed the construction of the facility, developed training curriculum and program standard operational procedures, materials purchases, staffing and site life support.  Direct liaison with the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer’s Representative and the US Military advisors to the Iraq Federal Police.
  • Construction of large scale training and vehicle maintenance facility within a fifty day period under adverse conditions.
  • Ensured contract compliance for all deliverables and timelines.
  • Improved relationships with the US Government representatives.    

Country Manager, Iraq, Wamar International, Simi Valley, CA 2007 – 2008
·        Promoted to direct and lead logistical support operations for seven contracts with accountability for facilities management, construction, materials procurement, and business training. Acted as government liaison and led business development efforts. Negotiated and acquired land through relationships with Iraqi Ministry of Real Estate and the U.S. Military Land Management Office in the Green Zone. Managed project team of 15 direct and 90 indirect reports.
·        $2.4 million anticipated annual revenue generated by converting empty lot in Green Zone into vehicle repair facility in 23 days that resulted in complying with existing repair contracts and creating new business opportunities.
·        Experienced no injury or loss of life and realized less than 1% in damaged goods through effective risk assessment and asset protection, utilizing alternate transportation methods based on security conditions.
·        $150,000 saved in transportation costs for contracted deliverables by negotiating with U.S. Government Contract Representative to consolidate logistical movements, reducing cancellation and rescheduling fees.

Program Manager, Iraq, Wamar International, Simi Valley, CA 2005 – 2007
·        Planned and managed daily operations for Real Life Support services for NATO facility. Coordinated site and utility maintenance, power generation, garbage collection, personal services, perimeter security lighting, food service operations, and property book management. Developed organizational structure and established roles. Defined requirements for staff training, safety, quality assurance, and purchasing. Served as liaison with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Base Commander. Recruited, developed, and supervised 60 direct and 10 indirect project personnel.
·        $7 million contract renewal captured for three additional one-year periods by ensuring client satisfaction and contract compliance on time and under budget.
·        Executed contract within 21 days of award with no prior assets on site and achieved 100% on-time performance, meeting all contractual obligations in terms of manpower, equipment, food, and operations.

Administrative Actions Specialist GS-11, CENTCOM, U.S. Department of Defense, Baghdad, Iraq 2004 – 2005
·        Managed $200 million program focused on training specialized Counter-Terrorism Iraqi police forces under the auspices of the Civilian Police Assistance Team (CPATT).
