(2007) Managed a team of 9 software developers maintaining multiple applications written in JAVA, ASP.NET, C#.NET, VB6, and PL/SQL. These range from VLDB data warehouse applications to small user interfaces. Both external and internal customers served.
Wrote custom web service using SOAP and WSDL in C#.Net to provide Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs) with Non-Coordinated migration information via XML on the web.
(2006) Managed a team of 15 software developers maintaining multiple applications. Overall responsibility for on-time code delivery, code quality, following accepted SDLC practices, technical design decisions, code integration, audit team interface, and all production runs. (2004 –2005) Served as technical lead (180+ contractors and employees) and application architect for a Data Warehouse application. This Bellsouth application received feeds (1+ Terabyte) from an Operational Data Store and processed this information monthly into two snowflake schema Oracle data warehouses using PL/SQL to apply all business rules. These data bases then fed multiple Oracle data marts and proprietary ASP DotNet code was used for report delivery. This application helped BellSouth gain entry into the $4B per year long distance market.
(2001-2003) Served as technical lead (280+ contractors and employees) and application architect for a Data Warehouse application. This Bellsouth application received feeds from 56 source systems (over a billion transactions daily), used a unique (patent pending) ETL process to apply the business rules (DataStage, JAVA, IRULES), and stored the results in a snowflake schema Oracle data warehouse. A data mart was created to aggregate this data and Business Objects was used as the backend reporting tool for web delivery.
