Due to my success on the M-SHARP team I was selected
and promoted to a role as the Lead Developer on the original SHARP application
that was developed for the Navy. As the
Lead Developer, my responsibilities include supervision for a team of 6
developers, requirement generation and documentation, training, instituting
alignment with company process, system and software architecture and design as
well as development. I implemented an
integration build process, utilizing TFS Build, and redesigned the deployment
strategy to allow for scheduled and automated deployments for new versions of the
software, as well as designing and implementing a mechanism and strategy for
releasing no-standard deployments for off-cycle fixes. I incorporated Microsoft Database Projects into
the development and deployment methodology for the team. I lead the architectural design and kickoff
for the next version of SHARP which will leverage the existing system and
extend it to create a enterprise network that will operate of the aircraft
carriers worldwide.

focused on implementing the architecture scheduling software used to facilitate
and document the training of the Marine Aviation Community utilizing C#,

central data warehouse. Built and
maintained the web server logic to facilitate cross-office communications using
VB and a communication toolset similar to SOAP.

My responsibilities for this project include re-engineering the
reporting system, including the creation of the module used by customers to
customize reports. I also develop the
Symbol and Hand Held application used on the mobile collection devices using
Visual C++, and the Touch Tag readers using the manufacturer's proprietary
development environment. I have redesigned the communications module to
increase reliability and to implement the Y-Modem file transfer protocol.

involved the on-going maintenance and reengineering of a FoxPro 2.6 for Windows
Lead Tracking application. The new
version was designed as a Visual FoxPro 6.0 based client/server application
utilizing the Internet for connectivity, and MS SQL Server for the data
storage. Responsibilities for the
reengineering included the database modeling (using xCASE), research and
purchase of development tools, creation of project design specifications and
timelines, coding of the application, and the supervision of a junior
programmer. Also responsible for the re-designing
of the network, in order to standardize the distribution of company data, to
provide for a systematic and reliable backup scheme, to implement Internet
services including FTP, WWW, and company Email, and to move employees to an
Internet based telecommuting environment.
