Senior Engineer, I am part of a team that
designed MS Exchange 2010, Microsoft Active Directory on Windows Server
2008r2, Office365, Blackberry Business
Cloud, Blackberry Server v 5.03. I currently manage the following: Microsoft
Exchange 2010, Active Directory in Windows 2008r2 environment, MS Exchange
2003, MS Lync 2010, Exchange 2003 domain infrastructure in a 4-nodes active and
4-node passive Cluster environment. We use the following Microsoft Forefront to
monitor and filter out spam, junk emails.
Prior to that, I was responsible for
designing the MS Exchange; Exchange 2003 to 2007, Enterprise Backup Systems
using Symantec NetBackup 6.5 and Backup Exec 12.5 and Print Services in a
virtualized configuration.
Work included technical lead,
supervising a team of developers and engineers which included updating Windows
Servers’ monthly including security updates and patching using various
technologies: WSUS, Shavlik, SMS, etc.
I served with CDI Corporation at
Arlington County Government as Senior Exchange and Symantec NetBackup System Engineer. As a Senior Engineer I lead the transition team in transitioning from
Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 into existing organization called transition.
Moved data\exchange mailboxes from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007
Spearheaded the upgrade of Symantec
NetBackup from version 6.5.2 to 6.5.4. Installed the upgrade and all the
add-ons, verified, tested the new environment for accuracy. Single platform to
manage, protect, and recover data across storage tiers, locations, and
operating systems. Integrated data protection and recovery for virtual
environments (EMC: DMX, CLARiiON AX4, CX4),
critical applications, databases, and servers.
Prior to that I served with National
Association of Social Workers. I was responsible for implementing and migrating
from Windows NT4 to Windows 2000 and then to 2003 and Windows Server 2008 R2
Active Directory. Also was responsible for migrating from Microsoft Exchange
6.5 to Exchange 2000 and to 2003 and from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. Expert in Windows XP, Windows Vista, VMware,
Windows clustering and virtualization.
I designed with a group of Junior
Engineers the network and the operating
systems’ environment for NASWAssurance that just branched out of National
Association of Social Workers. It included the servers, the email system (MS
Exchange), router (Cisco), firewall (Sonicwall), PCs and the network printers, intrusion detection system
(IDS) using Sonicwall firewall and Virtual Private Network (VPN), Symantec mail gateway, Google Postini Systems,
manages Blackberry Enterprise servers and Symantec Enterprise Vault System.
System monitoring and management applications: Dell OpenManage and HP Openview,
Microsft BPOS, Microsoft Office 365 and Google Apps.

Arcserve 11.5. Planned, implemented and supported the implementation of the
Company’s backup policies, retentions and frequency of such. Oversaw the

Team leader migrating from Exchange 5.5
to Exchange 2000 then to 2003. Configuration and administration of Microsoft
Exchange on the Exchange server. We use Microsoft Exchange as a messaging
system and project scheduling using the exchange public folder capabilities.

Installed and Configured Norton 10.0 in
the Enterprise on Windows 2003. Configured the Symantec System Center, Alert
Management System and LiveUpdate Administration Utility. The client
installation was performed using logon script for Windows. The server is
managed and maintained using Microsoft Management Console.

Configured McAfee Enterprise Vault:
Since the enactment of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the need for information
integrity is paramount and we installed and configured Enterprise Vault for
email retention and integrity.

Technical Liaison: Currently we are
running both SQL Server 2000 and 2005. The association database is on SQL
Server 2005 running iMIS while the Solomon accounting database is on SQL Server
2005. Lead the deployment and implementation of Transact-SQL based iMIS
database system of about 500,000 members.
