DESCRIPTION:
Vibration analysis and balancing is
carried out on straight line cooler fan in sinter plant of VSP cooling of
sinter is essential for handling and screening before it is discharged into
blast furnace.Sinter from the hot screen 6mm to 250mm size passes on to
straight line cooler.Straight cooler is also just like sinter machine and
endless chain moving on two parallelrails over 16 blowing chambers.There are 8
blowers,each is connected with two blowing chambers.As hot sinter is
discharged,its start cooling by means of forced draught.The sinter is cooled in
straight cooler from 900 to 1000 degree centigrade.
The cooled sinter is allowed to pass
through conveyors.So cooling of sinter before falling on to conveyers is of
much importance.This cooling effect is mainly generated depending on the
availability of smooth running of blower fans.If the availability of blower
falls down,it affects cooling rate,which results in reducing the speed of
sinter machine leading to loss of production and productivity.
