routers, antennas and test wireless signal strength. Use of Ruckus routers to
setup server client connection.
RELEVANT PROJECTS
2-Step
Flash ADC [Analog/Digital] Feb 2012 – May
2012
·
Designing a
2-step flash 8 bit ADC having high sampling rate of 100MS/s and a bandwidth of
1GHz. Project divided into two phase. P1- modeled the circuit using ideal
blocks and added various non-idealities and measured the performance.
·
Phase 2
designed the entire ADC using component level using 45nm Tech file and simulated the performance on simulator cadence.
Achieved an ENOB of 5bit with minimum non idealities.
Band Gap Reference Bias Circuit [Analog]
Feb 2012 – May 2012
·
Designed a
circuit to generate a constant output voltage of 1.23V within 800ppm over a
temperature range of -25 to 125 °C using 180nm technology file. Designing the internal OPAMP using a
differential input- single ended output with high gain of 82dB to maintain
the linearity. Simulated in Cadence and measure the output.
ADC Track and Hold [Analog] Feb
2012 – Mar 2012
·
Designed a
bootstrapping track and hold circuit for a 12
bit ADC, 200MS/s and tracking bandwidth of 1 GHz using 45nm spice model. Built two stage consisting of driver followed by
the Track and hold circuit. Calculated various parameters like SFDR, SNDR, THD and ENOB.
Op-Amp
Design [Analog] Aug 2011- Dec 2011
·
Designed
a Low-Voltage, High-Speed CMOS operational amplifier (Mixed-Signal IC Embedded)
in the IBM65nm CMOS technology
process.
·
Project
was divided into three phases, Phase1-Supply independent PTAT DC bias current
generator, P2-Op-Amp first stage; P3- Integrated all the three stages
and designed the final output stage with a gain of 86dB and Phase
margin of 58.
Drop
OFF LLC [Analog] Aug
2011- May 2012
·
Designed a circuit to measure and display
the flow of water flowing through the shower tap. Practically designed
and implemented the circuit on PCB and used for a competition.
Physically used in shower room and tested for the working and performance.
·
Used Infrared LED, Microcontroller and
display device to measure, calculate and display the value.
Laboratory Work: CMOS Fabrication
[Analog] Aug 2011–Dec 2011
·
Working
in a clean room specially designed for IC fabrication which involves various
steps of fabrication. Fabricated
components like active resistor, capacitors and MOSFETS on a 3 inch Silicon
wafer.
Digital Power Supply [Analog] Aug 2007 - May 2008
·
Designed a
half wave rectifier using diode to convert AC to DC voltage. Project was
divided into two parts, fixed DC voltage of 5V and 12V and a variable DC from
0-14V. For the variable part we used thumbnail rotary switch to input the value
of the voltage. Used LED to display the value of the voltage up to two decimal
points. DAC and summing amplifiers were used to generate the final variable
output.
·
Extensively used oscilloscopes, AC, network analyzer
to perform the testing and measurement. Entire circuit was designed on general
purpose PCB.
