            SPIE, Reston, MN, 2009 – present
            MARKETING ANALYTICS DEVELOPER
            T-SQL programmer and audience developer in the Marketing Analytics department of SPIE, a non-           profit society that delivers professional support, information sharing, publishing services, and event         management for academic, government, and corporate customers in the engineering of optics and      photonics.

·         Plan and write dynamic T-SQL queries on a daily basis, up to 2000 lines of code each, in SQL Server 2008
·         Develop stored procedures, functions, and views, ensuring adherence to best practices including error trapping, indexing, and constraints.
·         Analyze marketing audience integrity and research and verify analytic opportunities for promotional growth.
·         Monitor and administer data tables, filters, and hourly/daily/weekly processes in ExactTarget, an email SAS provider which sends millions of emails a year on SPIE's behalf.
·         Build and support a departmental key objective of greater analytical depth in marketing campaigns, tracking campaign activity and designing queries to filter and report on campaign data.
·         Implement and track bug tickets as needed via Bugzilla.
