Description:

During my tenure at Peoples United Bank, I was involved in various Conversion and banking projects:

APPRO Conversion Project: Appro is the system previously used in the Residential and Consumer Lending Department to process applications for HELOCs, HELs, Tax
rs, Secured Time Loans and Personal Loans.

Loanquest:  MortgageFlex’s Loanquest application is the loan origination system used in the Residential and Consumer Lending Department to originate, process and underwrite residential mortgage loans from loan entry thorough the closing/funding and secondary market stages of the Loan. This project will terminate the current Appro system and convert all Consumer Lending functions onto the newly upgraded LoanQuest platform.

Overview:

The goal of this project was to provide a complete single source data mart for the everyday OTC trading information, which provide the decision and support capability for the BMO risk management group. This single source will provide the aggregate across & drill into a pre-defined list of dimensions using adhoc-reporting capability. Delivering reports that emphasizes all users to use and create adhoc reporting, eliminating the need of using any redundant reporting process. Providing a reporting platform that allows for security to be established at the user level. The primary source for the data warehouse is various flat files from INFINITI (OTC trading application), MSSQL Server 6.5 and Oracle 8/9i.

Responsibilities:

·         Requirements Analysis and Gathering and identifying different source systems.

·         Involved in Design phase meetings and conference meetings with Ascential Datastage Support team.

·         Extensively used Datastage Designer to develop processes for extracting, transforming, integrating and loading data from various sources into the Data Warehouse database.
