        MS Access Developer
        UNISYS, Chantilly, Virginia
        (Dec 2010 – Presently [GSA Contract])
        Responsibilities Include: Provided network architecture and software engineering support for GSA’s Public Buildings Service (PBS). PBS is the largest public real estate organization in the U.S., and a provider of workspace and workplace solutions to more than 100 federal agencies; developed software applications in support of operational requirements needed to effectively manage GSA’s primary data center, including but not limited to security, continuity of operations (COOP), and application architecture; also crafted technical policy and procedures in accordance with government requirements.

        (Feb 2007 – Nov 2010 [TSA Contract])
        Responsibilities Included: Provided technical support and developed MS Access database application solutions for the Transportation & Security Administration (TSA); software development projects included but were not limited to network application tools, in-house application development, database administration and management, software documentation, and data reporting; developed a data mapping application in MS Access that could map any TSA IP address to its respective location anywhere throughout the world; developed a synchronous network administration tool that could ping a network for hundreds of computer names or web addresses sequentially after which the results were recorded and presented in text-file format; developed (12) software projects during my employment here.
       
        MS Access & SQL Server Migration

        Responsibilities Included: Migrate (24) separate databases within the SunTrust Mortgage Enterprise reporting department from Access 97 to Access 2003 format; additionally moved the databases from off of their former Novell server to an upgraded Windows NT server; developed automation heuristics for technical design documents and collaborated with other developers to consolidate (523) SQL Server and MS Access native table links to improve data performance and functionality.

        Responsibilities Included: Developing MS Access database applications for the healthcare industry including a Coumadin database, and an inter-department healthcare database supporting over 300 data elements of patient information; additionally developed a help-desk Access database system to accommodate all technical support issues within the company; also provided maintenance support for existing MS Access company databases.

Project Management Administration & Access Software Development – Special Projects

Responsibilities Included: Successfully managed the entire performance-based measurement system of a $358M U.S. government anti-terrorist project designed to secure and protect all U.S. air, land, and sea borders. The project was called the “United States Visitor and Immigration Status Indicator Technology (US-VISIT)” program. Additionally supported R&D efforts to provide automation protocols which would generate reports offering unique insight and feedback into project schedules that help Project Managers better deal with the challenges commonly associated with project management activities; additionally developed a new technology in project management called TSPT©.

Responsibilities Included: Created and administered various internal MS Access database applications designed to increase business productivity; database projects included a Master Spatial Planning database, a Building Evaluation Reports’ Image Viewer, an Artifact Inventory database, and a customized Project Management company database, all developed in MS Access.

        Automotive Systems Analysis (ASA), Reston, Virginia

Responsibilities Included: Successfully created and designed an MS Access engineering database called a Black Box Vehicle Applications Database (BBx-VAD); this database design is capable of providing every recorded parameter from black boxes installed in every make and model of automobile since 1994.

Responsibilities Included: Developed a customized MS Access Asset Management Database to accommodate the computer assets of four separate company locations which were integrated into one application. The application included MS Access reports and automated MS Excel asset export reporting, a comprehensive information architecture, and interactive data functionality which accommodated data related to users, CPUs, monitor and docking stations, printer and telephone, asset procurements, and miscellaneous supporting comments.

Responsibilities Included: Modeled, designed and implemented an operationally functional Security Operations Center (SOC) command system in Microsoft Access, capable of managing incoming incident reports; contained exceptional visual monitoring, and was designed to provide dynamic intelligence reporting. The interface utilized an interactive map of the United States and included text-to-speech recognition technology for broadcasting within the command center. My application design was used in a promotional video for NCS Pearson’s security division.
