* Led a team of engineers in
the review of Military Standards. This team was composed of support contractors
and Customer engineers. This task had a short due date. I collated all comments
and passed them to the Deputy Program Manager.
* Identified an issue related troubleshooting
and repair of Customer equipment. The Deputy Program Manager stated at a
meeting that he never considered the issues I raised in an email.
* Have made suggestions to the Customer
regarding testing and maintenance philosophy and received back comments that
these ideas are being considered. These ideas would reduce the time it takes to
troubleshoot and repair a system by at least ten (10) minutes, reduce the
size/weight of test equipment carried into the field and ensure higher levels
of maintenance have all pertinent information to verify and correct a field
failure.
* As a result of a meeting with a MTC manager,
some of the comments sent to the Customer were forwarded to this manager. This
information may be useful to other units of MTC developing proposals/bids to
upgrade Customer systems. Received an appreciative response from this manager.
