Responsible for integration of technology in the classroom as well as planning and analysis of school district needs as well as implementation of projects. Developed  technology reporting systems for senior management of school system utilizing Java and SQL Server. Primary contact for all Network, Server, Wireless network, Desktop, Interactive White Board, Security and VOIP systems in a school district consisting of 1000 students and 250 staff.
Operational Highlights:
  • Defined, implemented and maintained a VOIP telephony system (3Com VCX) with replication for 2 building school district
  • Defined, managed implementation and maintain Meru Wireless access points and controller
  • Defined and managed implementation of server hardware refresh for school district

Director of Information Systems: Oversaw the daily vitality of Cisco routers, Microsoft servers, UNIX servers, and all financial and marketing systems. Led technical support for a worldwide computer network and managed all automated financial and manufacturing systems at sites in England, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Singapore. Directed IT purchases up to $25K and made recommendations for all IT acquisitions. Supervised 5 software and hardware administrators and developers worldwide. Planned and managed a $2 million technology and services budget.

Operational Highlights:
  • Developed COBOL educational testing system for the state of Kentucky
  • Developed and executed marketing and sales analysis software utilizing SAS and IBM mainframe.
  • Created and implemented a financial database information system for reporting costs, sales, and gross margins utilizing SAS.

Participated in the reorganization of the CTB scoring system, from receiving through return of reports.
