AVP/Web Infrastructure Eng Mgr/Oracle DBA Manager, New York Life Insurance Co, NYC, NY           2000 – 2011
Utilizing infrastructure and services best practices that were in place based on ITIL framework, managed all functions of the Infrastructure Engineering group consisted of 7-12 hands-on Internet systems engineers and Oracle DBAs.  Functions included management of budget, people, and projects using PMI principles, maintaining technology Road Maps, and design, engineering, and implementation of enterprise shared web infrastructure focusing on document/content management, collaboration, portal, search engine, web server and web analytics. Managed staff of 10 systems engineers, application developers, and database administrators; led systems integration, application development, and enterprise-wide implementation of all Vignette Content management products. 
·    Significantly reduced time to share information to the user community by developing and implementing an automated process utilizing web content and document management solution.
·    Negotiated a major software consulting contract that resulted in a cost savings of $300,000. Acted as the Technical Project Manager, and managed the design and build of a business case tool - a web based content and document management solution for Merrill Lynch US Private Client Business.
