Randy was the CIO for Bekins Van Lines who used to be a part of HomeDirect USA where Bill worked.  They hired Bill as a consultant to come in and upgrade their PeopleSoft Financials system from 8.0 to 8.9 and then from 8.9 to 9.1.  The modules used were AR, AP, GL, Billing and e-procurement.  He was the sole person responsible for this upgrade so he handled the entire scope of duties including the design, development and all the functional duties that went along with it.
Cultural Environment:
Bekins Van Lines was a smaller organization and Bill was the only PeopleSoft consultant brought in for this project.  With this came a lot of pressure and Bill handled it extremely well and he also delivered everything on time as well.  The entire upgrade was a success all because of Bill's work.

Project Description:
Bill was brought in specifically to migrate the PeopleSoft system from AIX to LINUX.  He handled anything and everything with PeopleSoft Financials AR, AP, Billing and GL.  He was both technical and functional and extremely hands on with the team.  He oversaw 3 other PeopleSoft resources and acted as their overall subject matter expert.
Cultural Environment:
It was a smaller environment at HomeDirectUSA which required Bill to take on a lot of different responsibilities in their IT department. 
Job Duties & Technologies:
Designed and created customizations, developed all PeopleSoft Framework, created design documentation, trained all PeopleSoft end users internally, and conducted all testing.

Technical Performance & Ability:
Jim said that out of all the PeopleSoft people he has worked with in his career Bill is by far the most skilled and advanced consultant he has worked with.  Not only is he good from a technical aspect but he is great when it comes to the big picture.  When a problem arises he has the ability to find the root cause and addresses it.  He can be honest when he needs to in order to get the appropriate solutions in place.
Non-Technical Skills:
His communication skills are great.  He is a very likable guy who gets along with most everyone he interacts with.  He has a lively personality and brings a lot of energy to the workplace.
Strengths & Weaknesses:
Strengths: personality, communication skills, honesty/candor, finding problems, analyzing things from both a business and technical perspective, reliable, trustworthy, integrity, sticks things out until the end.
Weaknesses: At times he can be a little too honest and it may rub people the wrong way.
Attendance & Reliability:
Never an issue in this area.
