PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
I was the Senior UNIX Systems Administrator
for Fleet Libris Information Solutions. I am responsible for the administration
and monitoring of various systems and environments using various products
including HP OpenView IT/O, IBM Tivoli and other performance monitoring
products as well as applications that ensure the availability and performance
of our systems. The primary systems I work on are HP/UX 11.x systems although I
am responsible for various systems across multiple platforms that we employ
depending on our requirements. We have various dispersed locations that I am
involved in the support of to ensure the availability of all of our capacities
as required by the SLA’s of any of the many contracts that we are involved in.

I am involved in the implementation and administration of multiple systems
projects performing various functions including; specifying, pricing, ordering,
installing, configuring, monitoring and administration of systems that are used
for processing tax information for multiple state’s agencies. I am the administrator
of our OpenView and Tivoli environments and support multiple sites for any
issues that arise that affect our processing capability. I am the lead Systems
Administrator for our HPUX systems and I have over 10 years of experience
working on them and have received extensive training on them as well as
extensive hardware and software hands on experience. As the Senior UNIX Admin,
I am involved in the determination of requirements for our future processing
plans and implementation of current requirements for projects that we are

I was responsible for the day to day support
of the systems in our Kingston and Albany facilities, monitoring and resolving
any performance issues as well as testing for hardware and software problems
and dealing directly with vendors to correct any issues that may arise. I
reviewed, updated and managed our HP support contracts. I was the administrator
of our HP OpenView IT/O-VP/O management systems, in our Production and
Non-Production environments, performing all configuration functions and
developing the environments for our systems operators to use to control the
systems. I also supported and maintained our OmniBack II V. 3.50 cell servers
for our Production and Non-Production environments backup needs. Connected to
these systems I maintained approximately 5 Terabyte of RAID 5 Disk storage
based on MTI Corporation 6400 and 3500 RAID Arrays using FWD SCSI direct
attached to the HPUX systems.

performed technical support of the production and testing systems for the
PIT-2000 tax processing system, which electronically processes the personal
income tax returns for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. I
supported and troubleshot a client/server network of about 400 PC’s working
with HP 9000 series servers running in a multiple ring fiber network as well as
multiple Sparc20 workstations running high speed Kodak scanner systems. I also
worked on supporting our Windows/Novel network users.
