United States Army Commissioned Officer (01/1998– Present) – Transportation/Senior Logistics Officer

Planned, organized and managed the relocation /movement of the 3rd Battalion, 81st Armor Regiment of United States Armor Center and School from Fort Knox, Kentucky to Fort Benning, Georgia as part of BRAC. Orchestrated facility turn-in, reallocation, transport and accountability of equipment worth in excess of 4 million dollars. Supervised up to 25 Subject Matter Experts in the field of logistics and transportation operations. Managed, directed and administered all logistical support and services provided to the headquarters and subordinate units. Established and implemented supply and logistics policies for the organization. Advised senior leaders on the appraisal, transportation, storage, repair, maintenance, management, and disposal of assets.  Managed and controlled supply programs focused on the battalion property book, tracking expenditures of the annual budget. Monitored Government Credit Card purchases and the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP). Conducted Analysis of procedural and administrative issues with property management and disposal compiling accurate, concise reports to the upper echelons. Managed life support contracts for the Iraqi Security Forces, totaling over 100,000 soldiers and over 500 million dollars without disruption. Set the standard for the division through the development of comprehensive and concise continuity books which captured key information on the plans and policies position and base transition process. Coordinated the reception and integration through completing a comprehensive, detailed handover to senior leaders enabling them to have accurate situational awareness of the known and potential threats in the area of operations. Facilitated weekly Video Teleconferences with key leaders to synchronize base consolidation information which resulted in the successful closure of 16 base camps and the relocation of over 8,000 soldiers and civilians throughout Iraq. Assessed logistical capabilities for Iraqi Security Forces including all missions, inter-agencies and Iraq ministries taking assessing the specialized needs of Iraqi Soldiers and law enforcement.

Supervised and synchronized brigade operations and training staff in planning and executing missions to sustain the Group (brigade) comprised of three terminal service battalions and one motor transport battalion with over 3,300 Soldiers and equipment worth in excess of $900 million dollars. Coordinated seamlessly with various external organizations to develop deliberate and crises action planning procedures in the event of real world catastrophes.  Developed and monitored timelines to effectively direct the movement of soldiers and equipment for deployment to the Central Command Theater of operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
