CBL Account Transfer project.
· The
objective of the CBL Account Transfer project was to support the government
regulation for providing a cost basis and historical information on all
institutional account transfers. The project also introduced new accounting
methods for transfer of equity assets. The project consisted of testing the
cost basis and tax information for internal and external account transfers. All
test validation was done using mainframe applications.

project
· The objective of the DTC
ActionService Plus project was to test the new DTC functionality within
ActionService. The testing process involved data mining corporate action events
using SQL queries, match the events to test cases then execute the test cases.
The test results were validated on the ActionService application and it’s
supporting tables in the Oracle database. Other responsibilities include using
UNIX to validate corporate action data on the UNF (Unified Notification File).

Project.
· Brown Brothers Harriman is a
partnership bank that offers a full range of services that included Global
Custody.Corporate Actions Conversion Project.
· The objective of the
corporate actions conversion project was to first convert all Global Custody
international corporate action transactions from two legacy applications to a
new ActionWorld automated application and then test the ActionWorld
application. The Quality Assurance role involved functional testing the
ActionWorld application by data-mining data using SQL queries and validating
that each field functioned as specified using the business and technical
specifications. The conversion testing portion involved data validation from
the ActionWorld fields to its sourced data on the legacy databases. The role of
Business System Analyst for the conversion project included providing technical
conversion requirement’s and writing and maintaining project
documentation. Other responsibilities
included working with the business area to achieve issue resolution and
organize meetings with resources from other areas.

such as S&P500. SPDRs are similar to mutual funds but trade like
stocks. SPDRs Australia web site project
consisted of building a web site for its customers. The web site would provide
daily ETF pricing information for the 3 Australia funds, links to publications,
announcements and information on how to purchase the shares. The preparation
for the project involved writing test cases on all the functional aspects of
the web site and the tools that provide the site content.
· The test effort consisted of
testing the functionality of the web site, validating the data feed site
content to its data source and testing the tools that provide web site content.
· Other responsibilities
included writing defects and participating in bi-weekly project meetings.

· Plan Sponsor Workstation was a web based application that
allowed clients to manage company benefit programs.
· The Service Request component of PSW allowed clients to send
electronic change requests directly to Fidelity representatives.
· The Service Request consolidation project involved merging
Firsco and Fitsco data into a combined database.
· My involvement in the QA effort was to ensure the enhanced
Fitsco functionality performed to specifications while validating that the
Fesco functionality remain intact.
· QA testing included validating PSW functionality, XML
content and PSW notifications.
· My contributions included identifying over 50 defects and
several design issues.
· Some of those design issues were incorporated into the final
product design.

Benefits customers. Responsibilities included new and existing functionality on
the Update Account Features page. The project completed ahead of schedule with
few reported production bugs.
· Test Director – Created
manual test scripts in Excel and then imported the data into Test Director.
Executed the scripts in the test environment for each build. Executed and
documented the results for each step in the script. The test scripts ran using multiple O/S and
browsers. Identified and documented all issues to project leads.
· Team Track - Created and
maintained all reported bugs for each build. Ran daily reports to determine bug
status.
· VMWare – Used the VMWare
application to run tests on multiple operating systems and browser types.
· Mainframe Applications –
Validated that all web based changes persist to the multiple mainframe screens.
· FERMS (Fidelity Email
Response Management Systems) – Validated the creation and generation of client
confirmation letters for content and accuracy. Troubleshoot, identify and
documented failed generated requests in the queues.
· FIMR (Fidelity Image
Management Retrieval) – Validated that all FERMS client confirmation letters
get archived successfully. Checked the content and accuracy of each test

executed manual test plans from product design documents.
· Bugs – Developed test plans,
tested on multiple platforms, documented bug fixes for the maintenance release
notes. All bug fixes were scripted for future product releases using SQA robot
software. Ran database Queries to verify results using Sybase T-SQL and MS
T-SQL commands when needed. Established an effective communication process with
development group to identify risk areas in the code. The result was quicker
testing turnaround and fewer secondary bugs.

all assigned Portia projects and defects using Rational’s SQA Robot automation
tool. Executed and debugged the
automated scripts using visual basic. All completed scripts were deposited in
