09/10 - Current     Fidelity Institutional Technology FIT (Contract Position)
                  Quality Assurance Engineer
·      Fidelity Institutional Technology group provides support for the trading and transfer technology platforms.
·      The CBL Account Transfer project.
·      The objective of the CBL Account Transfer project was to support the government regulation for providing a cost basis and historical information on all institutional account transfers. The project also introduced new accounting methods for transfer of equity assets. The project consisted of testing the cost basis and tax information for internal and external account transfers. All test validation was done using mainframe applications.  
                                               

07/10 ­- 08/10       Fidelity ActionXchange (Corporate Actions Contract Position) 1 Month Contract
                  Business System Analyst
·      Fidelity ActionsXchange is a corporate action solutions provider within the financial services industry.
·      DTC ActionService Plus project
·      The objective of the DTC ActionService Plus project was to test the new DTC functionality within ActionService. The testing process involved data mining corporate action events using SQL queries, match the events to test cases then execute the test cases. The test results were validated on the ActionService application and it’s supporting tables in the Oracle database. Other responsibilities include using UNIX to validate corporate action data on the UNF (Unified Notification File).
                           

01/08 – 08/09      Brown Brothers Harriman (Contract Position)
                                Business System Analyst / Quality Assurance Analyst
·      Corporate Actions Conversion Project.
·      Brown Brothers Harriman is a partnership bank that offers a full range of services that included Global Custody.Corporate Actions Conversion Project.
·      The objective of the corporate actions conversion project was to first convert all Global Custody international corporate action transactions from two legacy applications to a new ActionWorld automated application and then test the ActionWorld application. The Quality Assurance role involved functional testing the ActionWorld application by data-mining data using SQL queries and validating that each field functioned as specified using the business and technical specifications. The conversion testing portion involved data validation from the ActionWorld fields to its sourced data on the legacy databases. The role of Business System Analyst for the conversion project included providing technical conversion requirement’s and writing and maintaining project documentation.  Other responsibilities included working with the business area to achieve issue resolution and organize meetings with resources from other areas.

08/07 – 12/07      State Street Global Advisors SSGA (Contract Position)
                                Business User Tester
·      SPDRs Australia ETF Web Site Project
·      Exchange Traded Funds are investments that contain a pool of securities representing a specific index such as S&P500. SPDRs are similar to mutual funds but trade like stocks.  SPDRs Australia web site project consisted of building a web site for its customers. The web site would provide daily ETF pricing information for the 3 Australia funds, links to publications, announcements and information on how to purchase the shares. The preparation for the project involved writing test cases on all the functional aspects of the web site and the tools that provide the site content.
·      The test effort consisted of testing the functionality of the web site, validating the data feed site content to its data source and testing the tools that provide web site content.
·      Other responsibilities included writing defects and participating in bi-weekly project meetings.

12/06 – 07/07      Fidelity Investments FEB (Contract Position), Marlboro, MA
                                Quality Assurance Analyst
·      (FEB) Fidelity e-Business Plan Sponsor Workstation
·      Service Request Consolidation Project:
·      Plan Sponsor Workstation was a web based application that allowed clients to manage company benefit programs.
·      The Service Request component of PSW allowed clients to send electronic change requests directly to Fidelity representatives.
·      The Service Request consolidation project involved merging Firsco and Fitsco data into a combined database.
·      My involvement in the QA effort was to ensure the enhanced Fitsco functionality performed to specifications while validating that the Fesco functionality remain intact.
·      QA testing included validating PSW functionality, XML content and PSW notifications.
·      My contributions included identifying over 50 defects and several design issues.
·      Some of those design issues were incorporated into the final product design.

04/06 – 11/06      (FIHR) Fidelity Investments Human Resources, (Contract Position) Boston, MA
                                Business Systems Analyst
                                Voyager Project:
·      Voyager was a Fidelity Human Resource Payroll project.
·      The project involved implementing a new generation of e-Workplace payroll application system.
·      E-Workplace was Fidelity’s highly configurable web based payroll application.
·      The objective of the Business System Analyst was to review, analyze and evaluate e-Workplace specifications to ensure it meets client user needs.
·      Primary responsibilities included writing user acceptance test cases in TestDirector, data mining production data, matching data to test cases, logging defects and providing assistance as subject matter experts through test execution.

10/04 – 12/05      (FESCO) FHRS Implementation Group, (Contract Position) Marlborough, MA
                                Quality Assurance Engineer
                                People Migrator Project:                                                   10//05 - 12//05
·      People Migrator was a software tool developed by Oracle.
·      The tool’s function was to create data conformity between databases.
·      Fidelity has worked with Oracle to implement the tool as beta release within the FHRS test regions.
·      The QA objective of the project was to develop a series of tests that validates the movement of information across databases.
·      QA Planning:  test strategy, test plan, test cases, mine participant data, and execute the test cases using TestDirector.

10/04 – 09/05      Pfizer Implementation Project  (Contract Position)
                                Project Management Cross Platform Testing
·      Planning and Management of the Pfizer Integrated Client Acceptance Tests.
·      Planed and managed the Pfizer Integrated Client Acceptance Testing project. Defined the necessary testing and environmental requirements needed for ICAT(integrated testing) groups consisting of Defined Contribution, Defined Benefits and Health and Welfare products.
·      Developed and managed the Project Test Plan and the Test Strategy approach. Provide the ICAT presentations to the virtual teams. Facilitate and coordinated virtual teams representing all the related business groups.
·      Led the testing effort of the virtual groups and monitored the progress.
·      Accessed and documented the needs of the client.
·      Ensured that all project related issues and bugs were documented and evaluated for closure.

·      Quality Assurance Engineer in the Financial Services industry working with web based application products
                                Retirement Income Annual Check Up Project:
·      The objective of the project was to compare the results of the ACU (Annual Check-Up) component to the output of the ALM (Assets Liability Model) engine.
·      Annual Check Up – Created the ALM excel spread sheets using ACU output information.
·      Ran ALM scripts using the spreadsheets and then compared the ALM results to the ACU output.
·      Validated the retirement totals based on current and projected models.
·      Worked extensively with the development team to identify issues.
·      Worked on a committee to recommend changes for the ACU test harness, ACU output and providing support recourses.

01/04 – 05/04      (FEB) Fidelity e-Business, (Contract Position) Merrimac, NH
                                Quality Assurance Engineer
                                One Fidelity Project:
·      The objective of the One Fidelity project was to combine functionality for the brokerage and Net Benefits customers. Responsibilities included new and existing functionality on the Update Account Features page. The project completed ahead of schedule with few reported production bugs.
·      Test Director – Created manual test scripts in Excel and then imported the data into Test Director. Executed the scripts in the test environment for each build. Executed and documented the results for each step in the script.  The test scripts ran using multiple O/S and browsers. Identified and documented all issues to project leads.
·      Team Track - Created and maintained all reported bugs for each build. Ran daily reports to determine bug status.
·      VMWare – Used the VMWare application to run tests on multiple operating systems and browser types. 
·      Mainframe Applications – Validated that all web based changes persist to the multiple mainframe screens.
·      FERMS (Fidelity Email Response Management Systems) – Validated the creation and generation of client confirmation letters for content and accuracy. Troubleshoot, identify and documented failed generated requests in the queues.
·      FIMR (Fidelity Image Management Retrieval) – Validated that all FERMS client confirmation letters get archived successfully. Checked the content and accuracy of each test record.    

02/99 – 03/03      Thomson Financial, (Permanent Position) Boston, MA
Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
·      In the Financial Software industry working with client/server applications and web based products.
·      PORTIA (portfolio accounting and management)
·      Created and executed comprehensive manual test plans from product design documents. Other areas of responsibility include: Tested user interface, third parties interfaces, database interactions and Developed documentation for Maintenance Release Notes
·      Created automated test scripts for bug fixes using SQA robot. As part of a committee contributed to a review team that reduced the turnaround time for client related bugs.
·      Oneva Perform (securities/portfolio performance and attribution)
·      Created comprehensive manual test plans. Worked extensively with Product Design/Development, as Systems Analyst, to streamline product workflow.
·      Oneva Fix Instruments (middleware)
·      Lead QA in the development of a middleware for a third party web based user interface. Coordinated testing using Microsoft BizTalk middleware. As the QA lead, instituted a documentation process that reduced the project completion time.
Ÿ  Open Trader (Trade Order Platform)
Created and executed manual test plans from product design documents.
·      Bugs – Developed test plans, tested on multiple platforms, documented bug fixes for the maintenance release notes. All bug fixes were scripted for future product releases using SQA robot software. Ran database Queries to verify results using Sybase T-SQL and MS T-SQL commands when needed. Established an effective communication process with development group to identify risk areas in the code. The result was quicker testing turnaround and fewer secondary bugs.
·      Test Automation – Automated all assigned Portia projects and defects using Rational’s SQA Robot automation tool.  Executed and debugged the automated scripts using visual basic. All completed scripts were deposited in the maintenance release library.
·      Product Interfaces – Developed elaborate manual test plans for Portia’s third parties interface. Executed and documented test results for each product release. Created a stable-testing environment for the product interfaces that identified additional bugs prior the product maintenance release.
·      Multi-User Tests
·      Organized multi-user tests for converted customer databases. Analyzed and published results for each test. As an administrator to a multi-user test, correctly identified a major dead lock issue prior to the maintenance release.

·      A Quality Assurance Analyst position in the Disability Insurance industry working with main frame applications.
·      Model Office – Coordinated developed and executed manual test plans for the Model Office environment. When the testing was completed the modified code would be elevated to the production environment.
·      System Conversion – Participated in all phases of testing during the system conversion from VSE to MVS.
·      Product Development – Designated participant in week-long site meeting for new disability insurance product.
