Single handedly developed and maintained Reporter application used to report across business units for sales and menu analysis, inventory control, purchasing and ordering, etc. Developed front end application using Delphi, wrote SQL stored procedures, and developed reports using Crystal reports.
Programmer, Health Resource Group. May 1998 through January 2001.
Different client sites had different versions of the health insurance software application, ranging from an early DOS version to a sophisticated Windows version. Self taught Delphi and wrote programs to perform conversions and enhancements at these different sites to bring them to the latest version, and standardized the process for further upgrades across all sites.
Rewrote several existing slow Magic programs in Delphi which resulted in much higher speed, and also improved the system by providing increased user options.
Performed data conversions to use existing data from old systems at new client sites, while interacting with the new clients to ensure a smooth transition.
Wrote detailed design specifications and new programs for numerous enhancements to the system. Designed customized programs per client requirements, performed upgrades at all sites, and provided customer support to discuss client requirements, training, troubleshooting, etc.
