I have over 25 years experience as a process operator, board operator, maintenance worker, and shift supervisor (8 years) in a chemical, LPG & LNG plants. I am able to operate all aspects of the plant, with mechanical experience to trouble shoot process problems. I am prompt, efficient, dependable and safety orientated. I have been a safety representative. I have also been a Hazmat Team Captain and Captain of a Fire Brigade and an instructor in Firefighting techniques at Texas A&M University. I am currently employed as a Operator/Trainer at an LNG Plant. Duties include Operating the DCS Board, Load LNG Tank Trucks, make adjustment to plant as needed, Training Operators & responsible for the Safety Training. 4/04 – 10/05 Nisseki Chemical - Pasadena, Tx
Plant Operator – Duties included working as an outside Operator/Board Operator on the SAS Unit. (This was both a Batch and Cont., Operation.) Loading and unloading T/C’s, Tank Trucks, & Drumming (filling, & loading both Drums or Containers), besides taking readings & making adjustments to the Reactors, Distillation Columns,Air Compressors, etc..
Reason for leaving, Offered a position better pay and close to my home (2 miles).
12/01 – 4/04 Inergy (formerly Eott Energy) Gas Processing Plant Bakersfield, CA

10/01-12/01 – Assisted in the Commissioning and Start-up of a DCS Controlled LPG/NGL Truck Loading and Unloading Terminal and a new 20 Tank car loading and unloading unit at Tupman, California.
5/98-10/01 – Step-up Shift Supervisor / Senior O & M Technician – I was responsible for the operation of the Methanol Plant, assignment of positions for “D” Team (4 operators) and training. Also, Mechanic II working on Copper V-16-250 cylinder compressors and other related equipment.
9/91-5/98 - Senior O & M Technician - (Mechanic I & II/Operations 1, 2, 3 & 4) of the Methanol Unit. Involved in the rebuild and commissioning of the Methanol plant (helped coordinate activities between Kellogg and Enron on night shift). Responsibilities included the operation of the 1. Gas Fired Reformer, 2. Auto-reformer, 3. De Sulfur Unit, 4. Distillation Area, 5. Reaction Area, 6. Compressor Section and 7. Tank Farm. I was one (1) of only five (5) DCS Operators for this process (DCS System is a Foxboro). I have been a Team Leader and Captain of the Hazmat Team, as well as an instructor at A&M University for Enron in Fire Fighting. Mechanical experience includes Pump alignment, work on Cooper V-16-250 Compressors and general pipefitting. Reason for leaving, Plant Shutdown, and I was transferred to

Process Operator/DCS Operator - of the Styrene Monomer Complex. Responsibilities included the operation of 1. Dehydration unit; 2. Reaction unit which includes two reactors, three off gas compressors, two large furnaces and associated equipment with waste heat boilers; 3. Seven distillation columns; 4. Tank farm; 5. Provox computer DCS for control systems. Reason for leaving, I was living in Spring, Tx. and the drive was taking anywhere from 1 1/2 hrs. each way. Also offered a job closer to home.
8/86 - 9/89 Ethyl Corporation Pasadena, Texas
6/87-9/89 - Process Coordinator - Responsibilities included supervising the operation of the front-end section of the Polysilicon Plant. This includes batch operation - Sodium Aluminum Hydride section, a Crude Silane unit, a high purity distillation unit – and the loading of Silane cylinders under high pressure. Also, a dryer-separation and compaction unit - using Honeywell 3000 DCS for control of systems and on site GC for sample analysis.
8/86-6/87 - Process Operator - in start up of Polysilicon Plant, I trained and operated on Honeywell 3000 control board system (including batch operation and continuous operation). Commissioning and startup of Polysilicone plant. Reason for leaving Found a better job with a lot less stress.
8/85 - 8/86 UMC, Inc. Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Contract Process Operator - in Ethylene Oxide/Glycol Plant, worked on location at BASF Corporation in Geismart. Operated Foxboro Computerized control panel.
9/73 - 8/85 Ethyl Corporation Baton Rouge, Louisiana
5/83-8/85 - Senior Lab Assistant in the Research and Development Division, responsible for operations of the Pilot plant on my shift. I usually had two lab assistants working with me. Duties also included calibration of equipment, operations of high purity Silane plant and distillation unit, acid area, dryer separation unit, and other operations during shift including pipefitting.
1/80-5/83 - First Class Operator and Trainer, duties included training old and new employees on various jobs within the Vinyl Chloride Plant. Solely wrote Operations Training Manuel. Operated control board and coordinated with EPA. I was also, the safety representative for the plant.
9/73-1/80 - First Class Operator at the Vinyl Chloride Plant, Ethylene Dichloride Plants (I & II). This included reactors, distillation columns, dryers, furnaces, compressors, rundown tanks and storage spheres. Also, loading and unloading of tank trucks and tank cars, adjusted instruments, ran samples, and replaced equipment. Reason for Leaving - The Plant was Shutdown. Over 4,400 people lost their jobs.
