PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Created and established an in house pharmaceutical distribution center for a major national cancer services provider.  Developed and distributed proposal requests to software and service providers to determine their capabilities regarding warehouse management, inventory, pricing, and accounting.  Selected and implemented Oracle’s eBusiness Suite systems for the new facility, which handled $2 billion dollars in annual sales initially and doubled after the first 5 years.

Managed the customization and implementation of a Siebel CRM application to serve as a patient management system for multiple patient-assistance business units for the same company as above, resulting in further risk reduction and an increase in compliance to 100%.  The number of cases submitted to the Patient Assistance Support program increased by 41.5% over the previous year, resulting in a net revenue increase of 57%.  This project won a ComputerWorld Honors Program Laureate Award.

Implemented Perceptive Software’s enterprise content management and business process management products, which served as an efficient solution to handle the company’s document management needs.  This implementation shifted the storage medium from paper to an electronic format, redefined the company’s storage requirements, and reduced labor costs by more than 15%.

Designed and programmed a customized interface between PeopleSoft Payroll and PeopleSoft General Ledger to support more than 150 business units with different labor distribution needs.

McKesson Specialty Health / US Oncology / American Oncology Resources  (12/1998 – 12/2011)

VP, Enterprise Applications, Maintained operations, service levels, and compliance requirements throughout the integration following McKesson’s acquisition of US Oncology (2010-2011)
·         Migrated pharmaceutical distribution services in Fort Worth, TX to LaVergne, TN which included an application conversion from Oracle eBusiness Suite to SAP
·         Continued implementation and enforcement of Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis across the IT department
·         Implemented stricter Sarbanes-Oxley controls and segregation of duties based on shifting from a private to public company
·         Developed staffing plan based on attrition concerns to handle resource retention throughout the integration process

VP, Corporate and National Business Services, Provided leadership and direction for the company’s enterprise applications including database services and for the operations of the company’s data center and enterprise architect team.  Provided direct supervision to 7 management team members and overall leadership to over 60 employees. ·         Siebel CRM Implementation – Created a patient management system to support four different business units.  Worked closely with Deloitte to customize the application to meet the needs of the business and still meet the projected go-live date.  Recruited an internal team to support the application going forward.
·         PeopleSoft Financials Upgrade – Provided the role of executive sponsorship for the consolidated team of IT, Finance and Bearing Point to complete a successful upgrade of the application from version 8.4 to 8.9.  Provided oversight for the implementation of PeopleSoft Cash Management and Deal Management as well as Quest STAT for version control as part of the upgrade project.
·         BPI Contracts Portal Implementation – Participated in the selection process and worked with the vendor to implement the application utilized by the OncologyRx pharmaceutical distribution center to process charge backs on certain drugs based on agreement with the pharmaceutical companies.

Director, ERP Systems
·         Technical Project Manager for the systems implementation for the company’s new pharmaceutical distribution center.  Managed system implementation project with Deloitte and reported major milestone progress to the executive committee.  Evaluated and selected ePedigree software vendor to support the pharmaceutical pedigree a requirements.  Coordinated transition plan with the prior pharmaceutical distributor, Cardinal SPD/OTN, to assure requirements for data transmission were met for both sides.  Assured system validation policies and procedures were in place for regulatory and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. (2005-2007)
·         Directed the IT managers over the Financials and HR/Payroll systems including PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS, ICG Remote Expense (invoice scanning and workflow system) and XRT (treasury system).
·         Handled resource and/or hardware issues that needed to be escalated for resolution in support of projects and day-to-day operations.

·         Completed full cycle of software selection (Oracle eBusiness Suite) and implementation partner (Deloitte Consulting) from RFP (Request for Proposal) to contracts negotiations for the pharmaceutical distribution project.  Completed system architecture analysis and procurement and EDI software evaluation and selection.

·         Completed successful implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS 8.8 including the development of an interface between a custom web timekeeping system and PeopleSoft Payroll and a customized Payroll to GL interface.
