countries); cross-company SharePoint access; and onsite backup facilities for
outsourced HR system data. Also managed
portfolio of Alico IT integration projects.

Primary roles were
IT Project Manager, Business Analyst and Systems Analyst.
Led multi-site
royalty systems team (4 in USA/4 in India – created and executed training
program for India team). Provided tactical and strategic thought leadership, as
well as entire SDLC (including hands-on business/system
analysis, QA, system operation, and audit support). Royalty platform processed $100M/year (second
largest company expense, after salaries).
Platform consisted of: SAP SD/FI; TIBCO EAI; UNIX/Solaris with shell,
Perl, Java and Sybase DB components; and Windows Server with royalty packages
and SQL Server. Prior projects included:

Led mainframe
shutdown and data migration project saving $2M/year. Created UNIX-based data
archive. Developed report management
conversion tool using Perl that allowed HMH to avoid expensive consulting
engagement.

Conducted extensive
system testing of Houghton’s Internet-based student evaluation platform.

Managed Houghton’s
upgrade from ISBN-10 to ISBN-13 (GS1 compatible format).

Ran EAI tool
acquisition and deployment project (selected TIBCO), including RFP, business
case and product rollout. Project
resulted in deployment of SOA environment at HMH in less than 3 months and was
performed in conjunction with SAP installation.
·
Managed enterprise
application upgrade project to facilitate HMH business acquisitions. Initially hired as lead consultant for $50K
project scoping. Then sold and implemented $750K upgrade project which was
delivered on schedule without any processing errors. Hired as HMH employee in 2004.

assignments and reviewed/edited deliverables. Created project plans. Budgeted
for fixed delivery dates.
§ Profiled the
bank’s technical infrastructure and analyzed the bank’s critical/important
applications.

upgrade process and acquired/built the tools to support the process for which I
received the DDI Eastern Region Technical Excellence and Achievement Award.
§ Performed code
upgrades, acceptance testing and large-scale (bank-wide) integration testing.
