Infrastructure
Operations Manager for CTS
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Developed a Windows 7 imaging
system to deploy a streamlined custom Windows 7 installation for laptops and
desktops.

Remotely managed and supported
the Albuquerque NM facility for an extended period of time without onsite I.T.
support.
·
Interviewed, hired and trained
I.T. support employees for multiple facilities.

Developed and implemented
standards for the following:

New user account creation and
user termination procedures (including data archival processes).

New user FAQ documentation to
help new employees understand the available I.T. resources.

Migrated from outdated Novell

corporate wide implementation team.

migrate to a unified Exchange 2007 email system from standalone GroupWise and Exchange

SCCM allows CTS to patch
Operating Systems, install applications and inventory computers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage approximately 1100 Network
nodes, including 40 servers and 860 Active Directory user accounts located at
six CTS facilities by personal involvement and by managing the I.S.
Infrastructure Operation employees at these sites.

This team manages our Operating
Systems deployment standardization,
Application deployment and standardization, Active Directory

Network Services Manager for the Automotive Division
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Key member of the Windows 2003
Active Directory corporate wide implementation team.
o
This project required the team
to
§ Deploy one to two Active Directory Domain controllers to each of our
facilities worldwide (22 controllers were deployed over 19 facilities) to allow
CTS to migrate from multiple NT 4.0 Domains to a single Microsoft Active
Directory Infrastructure.
§ Develop corporate wide standards for:

Naming user, administrator and
service accounts.
·
Naming shares and managing
permissions on the shared folders.

Naming of groups to be used to
control access to folders/shares.

Naming of printer queues.

Delegating various levels of
Administrative rights.
§ Create documentation for the above.
§ Train the local computer support personnel in managing computer and
user accounts in Active Directory.

Managed the corporate wide Anti-Virus
protection upgrade / Laptop Firewall implementation.
