Econometrics
Scope: House economist; principal individual contributor of
quantitative and economic analysis, at Citysearch.com. Implemented open door ad
hoc quantitative analysis policy for Citysearch enterprise managers. Performed
hypothesis testing on the efficacy of pay for performance on-line advertising,
referral concentration, click-through, price, revenue, market penetration,
traffic aggregates, referral aggregates, efficacy of ancillary advertising
endeavors, supply-side critical mass axiom, rank in search pain factor
analytics, opportunity cost of strategic partnerships (e.g., cannibalization),
and user retention. My focus at Citysearch was primarily dedicated to
supply-side microeconomic analysis. Tracked Citysearch supply-side macros and
micros for drift, seasonality, noise, interventions, and structural breaks.
Authored and circulated weekly supply-side econometric analysis to key
enterprise managers, articulating significance of the cumulative effect(s) of
overlapping or offsetting policies, staggering five-figure betas, and
articulated unsystematic risk concentrations indicative of Citysearch macros.
Generated web stat analytics using SiteClarity (Harvest Solutions; web stat
analytics tool). Micro and macroeconomic search-engine marketing analysis.
Econometric modeling. Trend analysis. Web stat analysis (e.g., supply-side
analysis). Box-Jenkins analysis. Log/Log modeling, OLS, and time series
analysis (ARIMA). Cross-sectional bivariate hypothesis testing. Created reports
in Harvest (e.g., SiteClarity).
Geospatial

comprehensive audit in correction of defective geo-database. Drafted and
implemented internal audit policy and procedures for Citysearch geography.
Completed inntellectual foudation upon which a top-down reorganization of
Citysearch geography to ZCTA, MSA, CBSA and FIPs purity, in the interest of
integrating category and thesaurus to geography, on a robust dimensional
hierarchal basis.

Conduct, Accomplishments & Performance: Throughput
rigorous analysis on every supply-side macro. Published weekly supply-side
trend analytics circulated laterally to all key enterprise managers. Laid
foundation for a top-down overhaul of Citysearch's defective geography
database. Advanced methodology in rank-in-search pain factor analytics, a
function of entity specifics. Trisected and distilled distinct user cohorts
highly elastic, to rank-in-search. Identified lavish no cost PFP gains awaiting
next-movers in Latin American inverse concentric zone urban markets.

Function:
three year tour of duty; principal individual contributor of cadastral
research, vector cartography, spatial analysis utilizing GUS-X and ArcGIS
resources.
Tools &
Resources: GusX; Exodus; ArcINFO; ArcGIS; ArcVIEW; MapINFO; FoxPRO;
Cadastral Microfiche, Teradata, DBII, Shapefiles, flat-files, rubbersheeting,
SQL, Census TIGER, RDBMS & FTP.
Scope &
Focus: Created and modified maps using geographical information
software and principles of cartography such as coordinate system, longitude,
latitude, elevation, topography, and map scales. Gathered and compiled
geographic data from sources including field observations, satellite imagery,
aerial photographs and existing maps. Located and obtained existing geographic
information databases, and managed relational database TIGER attributes.
Developed, operated, and maintained geographical information GIS computer
systems, including hardware, software, plotters, digitizers, GPS units,
printers, and video cameras. Affected cartographic attribute updates and vector
enhancements to the TIGER database during the 2000 Decennial Census using
automated resources (e.g., coordinate geometry; GUS-X; ArcView; Mapinfo).
Electronically altered vector primitives in live-TIGER. Geocoded and digitized
updated feature attributes derived as the summation of primary research
conducted upon address clusters received from the United States Postal Service,
reconciled against the 1990 Decennial Census, for which to difference gross
demographic extent of outstanding clusters. Utilized proprietary graphic
interfaces (e.g., GUSX), local origination cartography, cadastral microfiche,
digital exchange files (DEX) from county, and city planning departments, or
on-line sources to update the United States TIGER database used, for
differentiation of mailout-mailback, update-leave, and update-enumerate
cohorts. Participated in MAFGOR, TIP, Hawaiian Homeland, Stat-Area programs.
Accrued three years experience in live-TIGER.
Accomplishments,
Structure, Conduct & Performance: Three
years in live TIGER; zero error ratio; highest cluster/hour average in the
history of the United States Census. Much of my time spent in manual
restoration of rubber-sheeting displacements which nearly destroyed TIGER files
06079, F06073 and G06073 (e.g., San Luis Obispo ,
and the two San Diego
partitions). Restored 06079 to cartographic perfection. Last year of service
allowed a free-hand on the LARO disk farm, to do anything I wanted to do.
Outproduced the day-shift. Always earned maximum bonus, for myself and my
colleagues.

I possess
interdisciplinary expertise in trend analysis. From rudimentary ratio analysis,
to abstruse case studies involving zero-sum, probability density,
heteroscedasticity, optimization, serial correlation arbitrage, spatial
competition, automated mapping and facilities management, cross-sectional
modeling or time series analysis, I connect the dots, from your isodaphanes to

equilibriums to your financials, from your X-efficiencies to your opportunity
cost, from your critical densities back to your equilibriums, seamlessly.
First in
class, I hold The Master of Science Degree in Economic Analysis, with
concentration in industrial organization, capital markets, and quantitative
economics, all of which I projected, via geographical information systems into
the spatial vernacular, the notion of spatial efficiency a discernible function
of a pervasive next-mover advantage subordinate to commercial sequent occupancy
