Responsible for the initiation and planning process for an Enterprise Case Management System. This included validating the scope in the Statement of Work, as well as documenting the Business and Functional Requirements. This also involved receiving stakeholder sign-off for the Solution Design Document, Solutions Architecture Document, and the Interface Solutions Document. Contractor – Project Manager/Business Analyst (Short term Process Engineering assignment)
Effort was to create a front end process to manage service requests coming into the web development organization that managed member-facing web sites. During this effort we interviewed business units with similar functions and worked closely with business stakeholders to identify critical work functions. Created “as is” and “future state” workflows for management approval; Interviewed workers who would be responsible for following the new process. Contractor – Project Manager/Business Analyst (Process Development and Support of a Large Hiring Team)
Gathered and documented business requirements for front and backend process to support hiring activity for 192 service engineers, project, and program managers for a large data center consolidation project. Managed the relationship between the company and 13 OSP providers. Designed and developed an interim Access database to capture and review information from candidate resumes, while gathering business requirements for a more permanent Siebel/Oracle solution. Worked with the hiring team to establish consistent evaluation processes for resume review.
Contractor – Project Manager (RFP Development and Support)
Managed a team that created Request for Proposal (RFP) responses for US Government contracts for client companies responding to these proposals. Gathered business requirements from the Government contractor and drove the development of technical specifications from the responding client. Worked with the responding client to develop a road map for creating development, testing, implementation and turnover plans for each proposal, and then led the team to the completion of a written proposal. Coordinated the communication between the client and the Government to ensure that the responding client had all of the latest requirements and due dates provided by the Government contractor.
Contractor - Project Manager (Database Cleanup - ETL; Tools Development; Business Process Re-Design)
Worked with business analysts and track leads to enhance the customer experience of a legacy ordering tool while a new ordering tool was being developed by the team. The goal was to keep the legacy enhancements in synch with the new feature sets that were being developed in the new tool. Coordinated the development of Critical Success Factors and their associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the feature enhancements. This included the ability to order software and licenses for online delivery as well as physical delivery and allowed the ordering of multiple licenses for multiple groups delivered with a single encrypted key. The emphasis was to establish repeatable processes using both DMAIC and SDLC project methodologies.
Contractor - Project Manager (Database Cleanup - ETL; Procurement and Installation of Hardware and Software)
Managed a database clean-up project for the regulated portion of AT&T for the Western and Central regions of the U. S. The scope of the project included validating circuit information from each end-user to the corresponding Point-of-Presence (POP) and the related Central Office. Directed the work of the third-party vendor responsible for the data clean up, ensuring on-time deliverables that met the quality requirements from AT&T. Responsible for procurement and installation of servers and software required to complete the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process to integrate with legacy systems. Developed Critical Success Factors and KPIs to measure the success of the server installation. Managed Risk and Issue Logs to track risk remediation and issue resolution. Worked with on shore and off-shore groups to drive resolution of critical issues.
Contractor Project Manager (Oracle 9i to 10g Migration; Development and Implementation of New Software)
Tasked with two enterprise level projects. First worked with Chevron program manager to set up a new technical product offering for internal Chevron customers. Coordinated the feature road map for the product, called Remote GAP (global application platform. The product was designed for internal customers who wanted datacenter level support for their servers in a non-datacenter environment. This involved the development of work flow processes, creation of service level agreements, management of vendors to establish management and maintenance processes, as well as collaboration with regional datacenters to create a standardize support matrix.

Contractor – Senior Project Manager – iTools Project (Selection, Procurement and Installation of Billing Engine)
Primary responsibility was for the development of the Portal Billing Engine. The Portal product was integrated with a large Oracle database running on clustered Sun E4500 servers. Worked closely with Portal developers and Oracle developers to ensure customer requirements were integrated into this third party tool. Managed the project schedule and provided weekly status reports to management. Identified risk factors and provided mitigation strategies for risk resolution. Maintained issues list and facilitated meetings to accomplish issue resolution. Negotiated with developers for the delivery of enhancements. Worked closely with facility PM to build out a new data center. Those duties included making sure equipment was ordered and delivered in a timely fashion, assisted SE’s in providing network connectivity and in a few cases jump started machines.
Defined requirements for web content change requests and new web development initiatives, including both ASP/COM and Java applications. Created project plans and schedules to implement these changes. Wrote policy and procedures for this new department. Worked with numerous law enforcement agencies to identify areas of exposure pre and post launch. Contractor - Senior Project Manager (Y2K Systems Compliance)
Senior Y2K Project Manager for Systems Development Group charged with identifying and ameliorating Y2K issues in both hardware and software systems throughout the enterprise. Worked with engineers to design and build a test lab using a heterogeneous hardware environment (Sun, HP, AIX, Intel-based) to mimic the enterprise Java applications and large (750 GB) Oracle customer database. Implemented configuration management for the new Y2K test lab. This included the detailed recording and updating of information that described the lab’s computer systems and networks, including all hardware and software components. Such information included the versions and updates that were applied to installed software packages and the locations and network addresses of hardware devices. Identified risk factors and provided mitigation strategies for risk resolution. Maintained issues list and conducted meetings designed to accomplish issue resolution. Directed the team that designed and conducted regression testing scenarios, identified processes, wrote test scripts and validated findings in order to ensure Y2K compliance for all enterprise systems.
