Re-engineered manufacturing automation systems to eliminate tooling
change downtime. Created pan-site parallel automation product flow
paradigm that completely eliminates all WIP and scheduling related issues with
existing methods (e.g. upgrades, downgrades, testing, scheduling). Results: Removal of 6 hours of downtime
per manufacturing line, recovering 100+ hours of total manufacturing time for
each release cycle.
Pioneered new design-for-variability automation software strategy.Created
software architecture to support new, complementary, or opposing automation
processes within any manufacturing facility or R&D lab.Initiated capability
to build any networked device regardless of required OS (e.g. Windows, WebOS, and
