Description:
                The FedAd application is developed for client Federated System Group. This is a Retail industry project having the solution for the Federated Advertisement. IBM Global Services US and IBM Global Services India have developed and deployed this application on operating systems such as AIX. This application uses J2EE 1.3.1 specification along with some open web framework like Struts framework. Here in IGSI we are in support for the application for the future release of application, bug fixing in the existing application.

The vision of FedAd is to provide a single, state-of-the-art operational system to manage all aspects of the advertising and marketing process from planning through execution and analysis and enable the FDS marketing organizations to efficiently generate marketing plans and increases "plus over norm" sales.

Key Roles & Resposibilities:
·      Facilitates communication and negotiation within and across the project team(s). Escalates risks as required to appropriate level of management.
·      Manages issues throughout the project.  Conducts regular project status/quality meetings and daily reports. Keeps management and key stakeholders well informed on a timely basis on project progress, status, risks, and/or concerns for each assignment.
·      Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to identify, recommend, and implement improvements to systems and processes. Ensures compliance with existing processes and standards.
·      Manages the “on call” rotation program as needed.
·      Works with onshore Project Managers and QA to develop and report monthly IBM status information.
·      Understands offshore QA assignments and tasks for MAS Planning, Production, Operations and Reporting. 
·      Coordinates scheduling and resource utilization with onshore Test Advocates (TAs).
·      Communicates assignments and expectations to offshore resources.
·      Manages resources to ensure tasks are completed.
·      Communicates any variances to onshore TAs and recommends mitigation.
·      Ensures contractual hour agreements are met.
·      Communicates/Resolves offshore needs for successful task completion.
·       Manages and resolves overnight environmental issues.

This application helps the super users to override DSD channel type i.e. to determine whether the vendor is delivering through Distribution Center (DC) or directly to the store. This can be done at Club or Item level for vendors but not both(DC or Club) in same batch.
