08/11 – 11/11 FEMA Coordinator Assistant / City of Milford
Work on daily basis with Community Relations and Public Assistance representatives from FEMA assigned to Region 2 post Hurricane Irene.  Responsible for tracking disaster damage within City of Milford, coordinating FEMA assistance for residents and businesses, responsible for all financial labor summary records and equipment summary records for FEMA for all city departments (except public works).  

911 Dispatcher / Milford Fire Department (Per Diem)
Answer all 911 and routine calls into the Fire Department EOC center.  Dispatch appropriate fire apparatus and companies to calls.  Notify all additional agencies needed to respond (Police, AMR, utility companies, city officials, etc.).

07/08 – Present Communications Room Supervisor & Police Dispatcher / Milford Police Department
Overall supervision of communications center.  Monitor and maintain all equipment, schedule repairs/replacements as necessary, order supplies and monitor budget, scheduling, right-hand person to Patrol Captain and Administrative Sergeant, generating pick lists, car sheets, and sign on sheets for patrol officers, PowerPoint presentations as needed for department personnel, excel spreadsheets for tracking officers mileage, department accidents, K9 usage, Taser usage, and several tracking sheets for the Captain, planning of department Awards Ceremony with Patrol Captain, update and create all department tracking sheets, and template forms.  Research case history for Patrol Captain.  Responsible for Department’s monthly audit validation of all records monitored by the State of Connecticut (wanted persons, stolen vehicles, stolen plates, articles, gun & securities), as well as in-house quarterly audit of same files.  Conduct NCIC/SPRC/III and other database background checks on criminals as well as potential applicants of the department.  Backup stenographer as needed for warrants, report typing, witness statements, vehicle inventory forms, manage department towing logs w/wrecker companies.
Team member for the department’s recent change over to the SunGard Computer Aided Dispatch / Records Management System.  As part of the team we built this system from the ground up over a six month period, “Go Live” date was August 2010.  Team project member for Combined-dispatch / Communications Room renovation/remodel project.  This entails all new radio equipment, computer equipment, furniture, interior finishes, AVL products and supplies.  Backup stenographer as needed for warrants, report typing, witness statements, vehicle inventory forms, manage department towing logs w/wrecker companies.
