and Consulting firm with over $45MM in revenue and 6 locations. Consistently ranked in top 100 CPA firms
nationwide, and consistently ranked Best Places to Work in Southern and
Northern California markets.
Recruited as CAO to support a planned
organizational restructure due to growth, to provide management oversight to
internal Firm Support groups. With
significant firm growth; therole expanded to include Real Estate acquisitions
and management as well as Risk Assessment and Management.
Real Estate: Knowledgeable in lease
negotiations, full floor expansions, facility management and closures. I worked with building and tenant brokers and
our real estate attorney for fair but aggressively favorable terms. I’ve led project teams for full floor
expansions several times, in multiple locations, as well as smaller floor
expansions where construction was managed in the same space in which we were
currently working. Working with IT
management for best technology placement as well as with contractors, furniture
vendors and architects to maximize space utilization. I’ve managed sublease tenants in multiple
offices w, as well as managing closeout of poorly performing offices.
Risk Management: Creating a Risk Management
matrix, I co-managed (with the Managing Partner) professional liability
renewals and negotiations, general business renewals including Directors &
Officers insurance and Cyber Liability insurance and Business Recovery
subscription.
Both of these roles positioned me to work
closely with legal counsel: Real Estate,
Contracts, Professional obligations due to subpoena requests from both courts
and regulatory agencies (SEC, IRS) , licensing for out of state engagements,
Partnership matters and HR related legal matters.
I provide oversight management to each of
the Directors in HR, Marketing, Professional Development & Training, and
Information Technology, as well as direct management to Administrative
personnel throughout the firm. Managing through Processes within each area,
with a focus on horizontal work flows (individual processes vs. interactions
between processes), making sure that existing management processes are
compatible with new or redesigned business processes. Providing single-voice communications to Firm
Leadership on Firm Service Support.

onshore, offshore, near-shore and blended delivery options from contact centers
on two continents, helping companies accelerate revenue growth and improve
operational effectiveness)
Alert Communications was a $16MM outsourced
call center business, creating customer-centric programs to support brand
recognition and standards for our client’s products and services. Programs were
designed to help our clients maximize their brand value and decrease costs
without sacrificing quality. Our clients
were in a variety of industries, both private and public.
At its peak, Alert maintained 10 offices and
over 300 employees; over which I was responsible.

I provided strategic direction in

- Set and maintain Quality assurance of project deliverable, including theclient’s standards of performance
- Set and maintain quality metrics for productivity standards
Alert was acquired by TRG Customer
Solutions in 2002 and ceased Southern California operations in 2006.
