Ten years of database development, administration, and
query design/development. Primarily using Microsoft SQL 2000, 2005, and
2008 with some experience in development environments with Oracle, Sybase, and
MySQL. Within those ten years of database experience I used DDL, DML, and
SSIS/DTS very heavily. I am accustomed to developing new stored
procedures and triggers and or troubleshooting and improving existing
ones. OLAP cube design and testing is
also included in my years of database experience, OLTP databases however, have
been my careers primary focus on a day to day basis.

Ten years of report design and development improving existing business processes and developing new and
custom reports based on business user’s needs and requirements. This experience has been gained by utilizing Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and Microsoft
Reporting Services primarily.

Depending
on the language I have anywhere from three to over eight years of application
development experience with the following languages: C#.NET, VB.NET, Crystal,
TSQL, PL/SQL, ASP.NET, HTML, and
XML. When developing in .NET I primarily have utilized ADO.NET to manage
my connections to the applications different databases. Included in my varying levels of development
experience is the use of a variety of source control systems including Visual
Source Safe and most recently Team Foundation Server.

of different forms and sizes of project management. Examples of some of
my projects are: migrating hundreds of crystal reports converting them to Microsoft SQL
Reporting Services Reports, the deployment of a multi million dollar casino
management system (primarily working on the database and reporting side during
the implementation), and multiple massive operating system deployments
including all the necessary application testing and tweaking.
