Vice President for Information Technology (2006 – Present). Managing $12M per year in information technology and public health service contracts for Atlanta consulting operation serving five major centers within CDC.  Day to day responsibility for operations, managing client relationships and creating business development opportunities.  Oversee staff of 90+ full-time professionals and 30+ part-time consultants.  Serve as a key member of leadership/strategy team.

·         As senior staff, led new business outreach resulting in 15 new client contracts and expansion of five CDC contracts with growth in revenue exceeding $30M over the past three years.

300-person department within Emory School of Medicine that had affiliation with Emory Children’s Center, Egleston Children’s Hospital, CDC, VA, and other research institutions.  Office of Medical Informatics provided server-side, desktop, LAN, software, database, and website development and support.

Assistant Director of Medical Informatics (IT Analyst). Performed hands-on technology practices including planning, developing, and maintaining networks and server farms; researching, evaluating, and implementing new technologies; and establishing best-practices.

·         Served as the Pediatrics Year 2000 Project Manager and an integral Y2K facilitator/consultant for the entire School of Medicine that resulted in successful remediation of 500+ computers and scientific equipment.  Generated contingency plans to back up mission-critical research and business systems that supported the multi-million dollar healthcare operation. 
·         Maintained the information resources for 300 users by providing project implementation management, supervising other technical support professionals, and guaranteed 95%+ up-time of critical services. 
·         Responsible for customer service/help desk activities including monitoring of network traffic, maintenance of mail/file/financial servers, interacting with users, and creating status reports and executive documentation for senior officers.
