As Senior Software Engineer, worked with Department of Public Welfare in Harrisburg, PA, on a Mental Health Statistical Improvement Project (MHSIP) aimed at developing a system to integrate various State Mental Health databases and to statistically analyze the data. As Consultant, worked with Continental Re-Insurance Company in London, UK, in the development of a System for Online Applications Treaty Re-insurance (SOLAR). As Consultant, worked with IBM Corporation in Lexington, KY and Boca Raton, FL, in the development of several products including a program measurement / cross referencing and project management tool, XREF, a filter to automate the porting of source code from DB2/COBOL to ADABAS/NATURAL, a Partition Map Utility for IBM PS/2's Reference Diskettes and System Partition, and an Automated Test Tool for testing IBM's Plant Floor Automation product, Distributed Automation Edition (DAE). As a Developer, worked with IISc in Bangalore, India, in the development of several products including a Library Management System, a Mathematical Optimization package to solve Constrained Optimization problems using Homotopy methods, a Neural Network Simulator to study the performance of "Back Propogation" algorithm for learning in Multi-layer perceptrons, and a Compiler for a sub-set of PASCAL. |
