Project
Support Manager. Software Systems, Inc.
As Support Manager, I formulated projects or studies that substantially altered
major systems within our client business operations. I have identified,
defined, and analyzed unusual IT problems and worked with my technical and
sales staff to determine efficient and effective solutions. These solutions
required research that involved product manufacturers, developers, and
implementation specialists to develop an answer that would meet the required
operation specifications. I also maintained relationships and contracts for
support from distributors and manufacturers of technology products our company
uses in our solutions for our customers. I also designed proposals for
customers and was the project management contact to provide customer
deliverables while focusing on extraordinary customer satisfaction.
Projects
I managed included full implementation process, contract support and on-going
systems support, maintenance for servers, wireless environments, network
security, remote application support and high network availability. The project
teams I supervised had two to eight people consisting of technicians,
engineers, trainers, contractors, and management. Projects ranged from
$15,000-$160,000 and took two-eight weeks to complete. December 2001-Present.

and office document management analysis and redesign of business processes. March
2001-November 2001.

I identified, researched, and defined conditions associated with IT systems.
Through my research, I established Bay Data as a prime vendor to the Florida
State Government and Education industry and had Bay Data added as a vendor on
the State of Florida
technology support contracts for SPURS and SNAPS. I also researched
requirements for authorizations to have Bay Data become a key provider of IBM , HP, Acer, and Cisco products and contract
technical services. October 1999-February 2001.
Adjunct
Professor. Florida
Metropolitan University ,
Tampa College .
I taught Computer Literacy courses covering microcomputer hardware, software,
Internet, networking and programming in Visual Basic. Courses required
structured lecture, laboratory, lesson plans, homework, and exam material
preparation. October 1999-May 2001.
Account
Support Specialist. Hallmark Integrated Solutions.
I provided advice and guidance on a wide range of complex issues for the Value
Added Resellers that Hallmark supported. I coordinated contract support for integration,
project management, maintenance and technical support services for our Reseller
firms who needed additional service support skills to provide to their
customers. I made presentations and negotiated service level agreements. April
1999-August 1999.
Business
Consultant. MicroAge. As a consultant, I
provided advice and guidance to Intermedia Communications, Inc. By identifying,
defining, and researching the IT questions Intermedia presented, I was able to
establish MicroAge as a prime contractor to technical support personnel. I
would conduct weekly support services meetings to define required technical
resources and then advertised, interviewed, and presented Intermedia with
qualified candidates. This led to
MicroAge becoming a prime contractor for technical resources throughout
Intermedia. My research efforts also resulted in building a HP 9000 Business
Plan to support HP 9000 authorization for sales and service into Intermedia.
The plan and authorization was approved in October 1998. July 1998-March 1999.
Education
Account Manager. Computer

management. February 1998-June 1998.
Advisory
Client Support Specialist. IBM
Corporation. As an Advisory Specialist, I
identified, and analyzed problems associated with IT systems. I also researched
new technologies and provided advice and guidance on new approaches to deliver
subject content through technology. Through my efforts, school district
technology plans were written and successfully presented to Boards of Education
and received over $70 million dollars of funding for technology based products
and services.
I
led the development of these plans by meeting with educational leaders and teachers,
and presenting new approaches and procedures. My guidance resulted in
comprehensive documents that coverd every aspect of an education facility and
how technology would be an integral part of a student’s learning environment.
Because
of my success in developing these plans in West Virginia , I was moved to Tampa , Florida
to continue producing IT based education plans. These plans included network
infrastructure, servers, workstations, and administrative and application
software. In order to make the solution complete, I led a team of engineers, and

efficient delivery tools for use in every day classrooms.
