savings, diminished change window and single point administration of web
security.
- Role Based Administration project – Successfully
implemented project that encompassed an upgrade from declining technology
as well as migration to a new physical infrastructure to accommodate
security needs of the enterprise. Planning included strategy for user data
and role information transfer from legacy system to new infrastructure
allowing for seamless transition and role generation based on position.
Configuration included infrastructure implementations, network
communications routing and extensive end user modeling. Project allowed
for single point, role based administration covering 3 data centers/20k+
users collapsing three departments into one six man staff saving $150,000
annually.
- Workstation imaging project - Successfully
implemented project allowing for the mass operating system install for
workstation upgrades. Planning included extensive departmental usability
sessions to discover user requirements.
Configuration included infrastructure upgrade to service image
storage also custom scripting to provide appropriate configurations.
Project reclaimed 2 man hours per workstation totaling 60 man hours per
this system upgrade.
- Widows 2k upgrade project -
Successfully implemented project allowing for the campus upgrade to
windows 2000. Planning included strategy for user data transfer from legacy
system to new infrastructure allowing for seamless transition.
Configuration included technology upgrade with rollout of new desktop
workstations. Project replaced 400 workstations spanning 12 weeks.
