Allied Wireless Communication Corporation

·         Provided support for custom changes to Customer Shopping and Ordering (CSO) functionality.
·         Modified Java layer business code and provided test plans, created use cases for System Test support. Used Eclipse/JBoss for compile and debugging of code.
·         Modified .xhtml files for User Interface changes after working with Human Factors team on requirements.

·         Member of Custom Architecture Team supporting customization work for in-house Atlys billing system. Facilitated on-demand business engagement, cross-subsystem impacts of customization, guide and advise the client through the finalization of the solution to ensure it meets their needs. Create initiation documents (Design concept, ROM (rough order of magnitude i.e., cost/hours), including preparation of business case and cost/benefit analysis, in accordance with PMO standards and framework.
·         Design, develop and provide technical and project leadership for developing a custom solution for LTE (4G) on a CDMA platform for CSpire Wireless. Rigorous scoping and requirements identification working with stakeholders, gather and document requirements using interviews, create functional design and use case/test plan documentation.
·         Weekly status calls with Business Unit, development teams to monitor project timelines and costs, delivery schedules, implementation checklist updates, and classification of billable work.
·         Provided high level estimates, design for Service Segmentation by handset, using Dynamic Decision Solution (DDS) and Atlys.
·         Designed Commissions interface enhancement by providing fail-safe mechanism in case of disk space issues.  Client was very pleased to note that downstream 3rd party vendor no longer faces commission backlogs. Provided data reports during the outage. Convinced the client to make this work billable.
·         Provide estimates and design for CSA Swap feature, Telephone Number Inventory (TNI) cleanup. Designed PERL/SQL scripts and XML samples for various business scenarios.
·         Designed and developed reference data cache sync up, to avoid application server bounce. This was a major pain point for the client, provided an interim solution into production. New Equipment models and Sales Channels can now be dynamically added and used immediately.
·         Designed proof of concept for Editable Service Attribute, to enable capturing of SIM card for downstream GSM processing. Provided XML and GUI samples to show provisioning behavior. Provided consulting services and on-call support


Duke Energy

  • Member of Custom Development Team for Rating and Billing Manager (Infinys RBM) solution.
  • Designed and developed new custom APIs using Oracle stored procedures to enable issue of Check Refunds. The APIs were used by the Customer Service Management (CSM) portal solution (Java/J2EE based web application).
  • Participated in on-site meetings with Duke Energy and RR Donnelly (check refund print vendor) for business requirements, stakeholder meetings, business case documentation.
  • Participated in requirements/architecture meetings in house to discuss CSM GUI changes to handle check refunds. Provided system test support, GUI use cases, change control and issue management to ensure timely delivery and on-scope
  • Designed and developed a PERL script (run daily) to capture customer data for use by an outbound interface to RR Donnelly. This interface contained all customer specific data to enable issue of check refunds.



Leap Wireless, Metro PCS

  • Member of New Business Capture team, to support RFP from wireless clients. Worked with Sales/Proposal teams to ensure proper documentation/justification of estimates. Collaborated on slide presentations.
  • On site demo of various use case scenarios documented in the RFP, high-level solution estimates for customization of customer care component.
·         Product demo using Atlys and CONSOLE to MetroPCS CIO and team, on TNI Management, Port-In/Port-Out process and various activation/subscriber management scenarios.
·         Leveraged SME and peer relationships to accomplish design estimates for Web-dealer application, Security and Platform design etc.
·         Worked with 3pty vendor Micro Telecom to integrate our in house billing system XML APIs into their Point of Sale front-end application, so that a solution for retail stores could be show cased. SunCom Wireless, Dobson Communications

·         Provide consulting services to SunCom/T-Mobile/Amdocs for data cleanup efforts in the source system.
·         Designed a solution to provide upgrade rewards information on SunCom customers to T-Mobile. Created a new test environment on a staging environment with System Admin/Production Support resources to leverage CPU advantage without impacting normal production. Processed 1.2 million accounts without causing any production impacts. Created a 24x7 execution plan leveraging offshore resources.
·         Assisted PMO on implementation check list.
·         Provided on-call support
·         Contributions to SunCom Wireless recognized in the 2008 1st HALF CLIENT COMMITMENT PROGRAM RESPONDENT REPORT by SunCom Manager (Emily Moneymaker).
·         Designed and developed CSA security feature, Hot Notes functionality for conversion read-only requirements. This was to assist in outbound conversion, and prevent service reps from accidentally modifying customer data. Assisted System Engineer and PMO on Account lockdown impact assessment, Database modifications and other requirement gathering.
·         Leveraged peer relationships and explored other Business Units to identify if similar projects were implemented, coordinated resources and this greatly reduced the turnaround time.
·         Custom Architecture Team SME for Customer Care projects. Provided requirement gathering, GUI design input, consulting services to BU and Production Support, System test staff.

·         Supported release upgrade and GSM inbound conversion of markets from AT&T. Created handset provisioning extracts for SunCom GSM inbound subscribers and load into Convergys’s provisioning system.
·         Designed and developed a brand new XML API (Customer Upgrade Program) to identify rewards eligibility for SunCom customers. This greatly reduced the turnaround time for service reps to identify qualified customers. A similar feature was also requested and designed for another client.
·         Designed a new Credit Check interface to TransUnion for SunCom. Project involved requirements gathering and design/development and support. Coordinated with Production support/System Admin team, Network services group, external vendor for smooth data transition. Provided data encryption using SSL to support Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance. Provided interface troubleshooting due to network issues, interface spec handling etc.
·         Supported performance improvements and new requirements changes to Insight Download and Dun Bradstreet processes for SunCom. These processes contain confidential customer data related to all activations and maintenance on the subscriber. This is sent to outside vendors for commissions and other data mining projects.


KForce Inc, Consultant at Convergys

·         Feature developer for CPNI (Customer Proprietary Network Information, FCC mandated for all PCS providers).  Responsibilities involve design, development and testing of a new window using OIT4.1 on Windows NT4.0 client desktop accessing information from an Oracle database running on a Sun Solaris machine via Tuxedo middleware.
·         Designated Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Address Verification system.  This involves maintenance/updates and testing of CODE1 address verification system (3rd party tool) and related application code (client and server). Sanity test monthly database updates for address verification. Create test cases for each upgrade cycle.
·         Responsible for design and development of Error Management System (EMS) GUI, EMS prototype, High Level Design Document for EMS.  This client-server application identifies and categorizes all types of Call Detail Record errors and allows users to make the necessary changes to P2K.  Development was done using OIT (Neuron Data 3.0.2) on Solaris, Oracle 7.x and Visual C++ 4.0.  IBM’s DB2 was used to generate the CRUD APIs.
·         Year 2000(Y2K) Feature Lead for the entire application.  Responsibilities include, invalid date correction, application modification for Y2K compliance by writing PERL, SQL scripts and other application code changes and monitoring the same for all other subsystems.  Develop a project management plan to implement the project. Worked with PMO and Business Unit on Implementation checklist for production implementation, daily/weekly status calls.
·         US Cellular Inbound conversion from external system to in house billing system. Responsible for on-site support at client site, Test plan creation, Implementation check list creation, Application modification, Issue management, offshore coordination for production support, Conversion team support for solution rehearsal, Testing support for various migration iterations.
·         Provided offshore knowledge transfer and training sessions, onsite as well as via desktop sharing.
·         Repeated similar exercises for SunCom Wireless, Dobson Communications launch, Release upgrades for existing clients at the time.
·         Provided technical and business consulting support to various clients, multi-tasked on various production and system test issues, updated test case documentation along with feature design docs.
