- Successfully
guided creative engagement to analyze and consolidate 22 Marriott
International, Inc. intranet sites into a single user experience for all
Marriott Associates worldwide and provide content publishing
efficiencies. Project required
requirements definition, new information architecture, new content
management system templates, new visual design and new style guide.
- Successfully
led content migration and quality assurance efforts resulting in seamless
transfer of Marriott.com content (text and imagery) from five global sites
into a new content management system (Vignette).
- Relocated
and delivered a new British Airways web site (www.ba.com) on schedule and
on budget. This overseas assignment required a comprehensive site redesign
based on new foundation architecture and an integrated content management
solution. Project included creative
and technical redesign, engineering, development, and testing of a new Web
site. Assumed total project
management control for three previously separate work streams (User
Experience, Organization & Rollout, and Architecture &
Infrastructure) which were all merged into a single project.
- Designed
and implemented electronic transaction reporting methodology for remote
sites, reducing processing time by 21 days and resulting in potential
savings of over $30M in direct manpower charges.
- Established
common and best project management practices across all contracted DuPont
engagements and a financial reporting structure that provided P&L
information across the entire DuPont account.
- Mentored
and trained 25+ new and junior project managers.
- Managed
multiple hotel renovation projects (guestrooms, suites, concierge lounges,
ballrooms, meeting rooms, boardrooms, pre-function areas, restaurants and
lobbies) to quality, schedule and budget.
Project budgets ranged from $1M to $39M.
- Recently
managed the complete renovation of the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner to
include 311 Guestrooms, Suites, Corridors and all Public Spaces.

Schedule Management:
- Co-managed

was the most significant upgrade to Marriott's internet presence since its
inception in 1997.
- Managed a creative
design engagement for Harrods of London Web site despite a fixed-price
contract, 7-week timeline, parallel work schedules for Information
Architecture, Design, and Content work streams, and a multi-city iXL
team. Successfully managed external
challenges including a sophisticated client, a multi-country client,
online branding consistent with Harrods legacy, design integration with Vignette
content management system and international time zones.

and tracked project schedules.
Tracked and reviewed construction documents (Architectural /
