real-time optical metrology sensors to resolve technical challenges in
the development of an Electro-less deposition process tool. Hands-on
experiences in metrology tools such as SEMVision, COMPASS,
Atomic Force Microscopy, X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy, and MetaPULSE.

Conceived and designed in-situ
metrology, which sensed process initiation and provided real-time film thickness
measurement, resulting in better deposition process control. Patented optical system layout significantly minimized
wafer pattern effect.

Identified process issues, developed conceptual
design, performed feasibility experiments, and implemented a new mechanism to monitor
chemical composition
in supply lines, which ensured process to perform at
optimum level.

with process technology group in developing processes to reduce
