this period, I contracted for municipalities, chemical and financial firms. The

Developed application using Visual Basic 5.0 for data entry
and reporting of police department records.
This application is developed using various OCX controls and Windows API
programming for advanced features.

Balanced and validated a SQL Server database, using SQL
stored procedures, and Crystal Reports.
Provided documentation on database balancing.
w
Performed analysis, made recommendations and provided
solutions for a Sybase database that contained credit card information. I was also responsible for assisting the
analyst using SAS with long running queries and to make and implement
recommendations to aid in the month-end process.
w
Implemented Sybase improvements for month-end process,
including automated balancing and process documentation. I reduced the run-time of a month-end stored
procedure from 6 hours to 45 minutes.

Remediated a large-scale non-year 2000 compliant database,
before government mandated deadlines.

My responsibilities include management of multiple client server
projects, utilizing Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL Server 6.5. In my tenure at Health Partners, I’ve
successfully implemented an application for Health and Disease Management and a
Provider Compensation Application. These
applications are developed using 3 tier Object Oriented programming in Visual
Basic and Microsoft SQL Server. I’ve
also incorporated the rapid, iterative systems life cycle for developing
applications and I am currently training 8 developers on Object Oriented
Analysis and Design. I’ve made many
recommendations and presented a proposal to upper management on how to
integrate their existing mainframe applications with new client server
development projects and how to streamline and standardize reporting.

providing 3 tier solutions using Borland C++ compiler, Object Oriented
Programming, Sybase relational database and various other tools and

implementing the concepts of project management, RAD and JAD. I developed and maintained several
reinsurance C++ applications. I also

The
2 ½ year training program was structured in 3 components:
Phase
1 - I provided support for AT&T provisioning systems, responsibilities
included daily, monthly and weekly call analysis and reporting. I was selected to develop a training program
and I travelled nation-wide to train at multiple AT&T sites across the
United States.
Phase
2 – Participated in a 3-month intensive technical training that included a
five-week customer project. Curriculum
included Systems Life Cycle, Integrated Process Modeling, Data Modeling, Sybase
SQL, INCASE (Case tool similar to Texas Instruments IEF), Unix, XWindows, RAD
and JAD. Chosen to be 1 of 3 students to
participate in an additional eleven week Assistant Instructor program.

enhancements on 2 Reinsurance sub-systems (Treaty and Reporting).
