Project Title   :   16-Channel Active Vibration Control Using Piezo Based Smart Structure

Organization  :   National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore

 Role Played    :  Analysis and Implementation of hardware and interfacing with DSP-Toro                                                                                                                                                                                     card
Description      :   The project involves design and development of 16-channel active vibration control using                piezo based smart structure. That will control the amount of vibration on the control panel of aero plane. Interfacing is provided such that the user can make use of different features of different kinds of devices to the system. The user needs to have knowledge of the behavior of these smart devices, so that the benefit of the Smart devices can be effectively incorporated into the existing system that is planned to be devised to improve its functionality.

Project Name         :    PS/2 Slave controller core using VHDL

Tools                      :    Galaxy Simulator From Cypress.

Organization          :    RASS IT Solutions (P) Ltd., Bangalore

Description             :               The PS2 controller provides a bi-directional, synchronous serial interface between a host micro controller and a PS/2 device (keyboard or mouse) or other compatible devices.

                                    The PS2 controller basically receives serial data (packet of 11 bits) from the device, digitally filers it to improve the signal to noise performance.  It further checks the parity of the data and presents the data to the processor as a byte in its output buffer. The controller will generate the interrupt to system when the data are placed on the out put buffer. The device is required to acknowledge all the data transmission. The controller has a separate transmit block and receive block, allowing communication in full duplex mode

Description            :    The  project is to protect the software by checking  the hardware continuously which is connected to host  through the serial port(RS232).After connecting the hardware the system will detect the hardware and enables the application. The host will check the hard ware for every five seconds if that hardware not detected the host system will locks the Application.

Project Name      :       Wireless Remote Pump Set Control.


Organization       :  HOBBY ELECTRONICS RESEARCH ORGANISATION.

Description          :   The Project is based on wireless communication. In this project the 
                             Device can be controlled remotely using 8051 Micro controller. Wireless
                             Remote pump set control has two sections namely device control section                                   and remote control section. The remote control section is the host part of                                  the project which controls the device through remote. The device control 
                            Section has 8051 micro controller in it. The micro controller programme
                            is loaded into the chip. The hardware  has a transceiver  which is  always
                             in receiving mode (this mode is default). A manual switch is also provided
                             to the user for stand alone operation. 


 Project Name        :  Interfacing a Micro controller to the Display systems

 Tools                     :  Keiluv2 with Language C.

 Description           :  The aim of the project is to study and construct a Micro controller Based System to interface the display devices like Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), Electro luminescent (EL) Display, Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VF) etc.These display devices are commonly used on instrument front panel to display any serial data i.e. alphanumeric data, text or graphic images.

 Project Name    :  16 –Bit Microprocessor Based CIS Automatic Testing Unit.

 Organization     :  ITI Limited,Bangalore.

 Description        :   This project mainly deals with design of CIS(Card for ISDN Basic Rate 
                                        
                              Serial Interface)AUTOMATIC TESTING UNIT. This project can be
                              segmented down to

                1.Building the Test Jig.

                2.Developing the assembly language program for u-processor
                                                               and other peripherals.
                                               
                3.Interfacing the Test Jig with the CIS card through PC mode or
                                                                   NON-PC mode.

    The supporting circuitry for the microprocessor (80c186XL)and HSCX-SAB 82525 and also

    UART –ST16C550 are developed.
