1986-1999: LARSEN AND TOUBRO LIMITED

JOB ASSIGNMENTS WERE AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN INDIA.

                                 i.            Joined as a Sales Officer in 1986 and was promoted to Senior Sales Executive with three promotions in 1996.
                               ii.            1986-1989 Joined work in Bangalore as a Sales Officer. Was responsible for development of market and sales functions.
                              iii.            1989-1990- Shifted to Ahmedabad, Gujarat for setting up of new operations, which included Dealers Appointments, Warehouse Operations, Monitoring of C &F agents and Promotion of Brand.
                             iv.            1990-1991 Moved to Bangalore to continue the previous assignments and customer related issues.
                               v.            1991-1996 Transferred to Mumbai. Responsibilities included Dealer Operations, Monitoring of Payments, Promoting Brand, and Regular Retail Market Visits.
                             vi.            Was involved in creating various novel ideas for Brand Visibility and promotion within the organization as a part of the marketing team.
                            vii.            1996- 1998 worked at Pune office to strengthen the Sales and Marketing Operations in the southern part of Maharashtra.
                          viii.            Was transferred to Bhubaneshwar, Orissa in mid 1998, to establish the brand in the State.
                             ix.            As part of the responsibilities was successful in doubling the sales team from 50 executives for greater market penetration.
                               x.            Special training programmes were designed for the sales executives during this tenure.
